Let me ask you a question
What is the point of praying?
What do you look to achieve by sitting still for hours without doing anything?
Enlighten me
Unless they're just meditating and harnessing mindfulness, well being, and connecting with their true will, they're wasting their time.
I look at all religious nuts as mentally/logically impaired.

FUCK
I meant Meditating**
Idk why i wrote praying.

What conspiracies would actually shock you if they ended up being true?
I don't know if I'd be shocked by any definitive reveal at this point.
>>18368892
The only conspiracy at this point (I pretty much believe in all of them) that would shock me is Russia and other "opposition countries" "playing a part" in a game, and they are actually controlled by the Illuminati to bring about a "false-light" BRICS-fronted NWO, deceiving the people.
However I doubt this.

The Saturn shit
I can deal with it being a crazy cult
I can't deal with time and satan and all that fuckery being a giant angry planet in the sky

How do i break free from this field of information prison simulation?
The answer is ALWAYS more meditation
>>18368752
Do you still "know" what an apple tastes like? Yeah. Never. Probs.
>>18368752
you can't escape the simulation, everyone has tried before, nobody has made it out.
Anybody heard of the Max Headroom incident. If so I wanna hear

Funnily enough, that didn't actually happen at all. IDK what their end goal is, but it's fishy.
Is there a way to acquire knowledge and artistic talents through magic or any other paranormal means? I can't find a way to fit anything in my brain and the need to create is eating me alive. I'm close to commiting suicide. Tips and advices?
>>18368533
>can't take the time to learn
>is there a way to just upload shit into my brain?
lol, you and the rest of the world that wants to get a high paying job based off of degrees
>>18368544
I don't care about money. I do learn, I just feel like I'm not getting enough from it, I don't want the raw data but a way to process it the right way hence the brain awakening statement
>>18368555
Do you not realize that it takes time. You can't just think you can perfect something in weeks. Anything worth learning takes a long time to learn.
Last night, I had a genuine OBE in which I was able to leave my body for the first time (albeit briefly).
At least, I think I did.
Some background info:
>started learning about AP about five years ago
>attempted it through the sleep paralysis method
>was never able to leave my body, however I was usually able to reach the vibration phase
>had some pretty intense "vibration episodes" in which I heard spoopy noises and felt some kinda unnerving presence
>practiced for about four months until I became discouraged and kinda lost interest, and also got busy with life and stuff
So here what happened last night:
>totally unsolicited; I was tired and just wanted to sleep
>start to feel the vibrations coming on
>kinda hesitant about pursuing it, because part of why I quit years ago was because it was 2spooky4me
>say fuck it and decide to just go with it
>tried really hard to focus on the buzzing sensation and to keep my mind awake
>I knew I had fallen "asleep" on my belly, but somehow found that I was on my back now
>tried to move my limbs, and I saw my leg lift up through the covers
>I remembered someone on here or something suggesting trying to make the leap out of your body by "rolling" out
>I try for a little bit, and holy shit, I think I did it
>I was in my room and felt separate from my body
>look at my bed to be sure, and I saw myself
>try to leave my room to go outside by going through the wall
>I can't do it, start getting dragged back in
>aaaand I'm back.

So my question is this: How do I know, from such a short experience, whether this was a true OBE or just another lucid dream? Part of why I'm skeptical is that my environment was pretty blurry and surreal, and that I can't recall the experience very well now. How "real" is the astral realm supposed to feel?
It seems that every time I've asked this question here before--that is, when you're APing, how do you know for SURE that you are APing, and not just in a lucid dream--I've gotten really useless answers that are either irrelevant to the question or just vague and non-specific. Google yields similar results.
What do you guys think? Lemme know if you wanna know anything else.

-New readers should post that they're offering readings and what information they require from a querent.
-Look for their posts in the thread to determine what's needed and before posting, check if they finished reading already.
-Some readers will refuse to do certain readings - respect that choice. Also, bullshit queries will get bullshit answers.
-An "air query" can be made to no one in particular, but no one in particular may answer!
-Avoid making the same question over and over and/or to different readers, this may lead to more confusion than clarification
-Please refer to the Dream General threads for dream interpretation

Is my situation hopeless? Kind of on the verge of killing myself to be honest.
The director’s new short film descends on a brutalist New York building to sum up the unsettlingly intangible nature of the web
https://www.theguardian.com/film/2016/nov/26/project-x-laura-poitras
>Before watching the film, I recommend visiting 33 Thomas Street on Google Street View
One of the great storytelling challenges of the 21st century has been describing the intangible phenomenon of the internet, especially in a visual medium such as film. Early websploitation movies like Hackers envisioned cyberspace as a kaleidoscopic theme park, while more recent dramas such as The Fifth Estate have imagined a Brazil-like world of interconnected but anonymous bodies. In this year’s HyperNormalisation (http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p04b183c/adam-curtis-hypernormalisation), Adam Curtis joined the dots between the social isolation engendered on the web and the literal isolation of a remote algorithm farm.
>33 Thomas Street is a 550ft skyscraper
Few film-makers, though, have adequately captured the dichotomous nature of the internet as something both omnipresent and entirely abstract, like the air we breathe. That’s what Citizenfour director Laura Poitras attempts in Project X, a remarkable new short launching this Monday on video-journalism platform Field Of Vision. In it, she zeroes in on a single building in lower Manhattan to reveal the invisible pervasiveness of internet surveillance around the globe
Movie buffs who appreciate these allusions, however, will be disappointed to learn that Project X’s title comes not from the 1987 Matthew Broderick chimp movie

Not sure if this qualifies as urbex, or rual/innawoods but a few nights ago in the woods behind my apartment this crazy dude was arrested after threatening to kill his ex wife and himself. He had an encampment back there and I'm actually going to check out today to see if its still there. A lot of animals around the complex had been disappearing up until he finally lost it and got busted, once of which being a cat I was taking care of...kinda worried he was poaching them for food and such. Will have pics, anons.
this is dan bell is my fav on youtube
I need something with all the answers to paranormal experiences, something that doesn't sounds like crap(islam), something to commit to and believe with all my soul and mind.
>>18367837
I recommend the pure Christianity of Iesus.
John 13:34-35New International Version (NIV)
34 “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. 35 By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XMSK-wq3jlg
lol
What is "crap" about Islam?
A brotherhood of love which excludes the exploitative and the selfish?
"Love Nero" "Love Pharaoh"
I think not.
I know for a FACT he died a few years ago.
This is just getting out of hand at this point.
>>18367267
Hi OP. Just a heads up, you are fully and objectively retarded. Thanks.
>>18367267
Im with you op
its almost irritating but I guess that makes it more his hell than ours, dying over and over and over
>>18367267
Specifically remember talking about his death when I was in high school
you are all just 5th dimensional algorithms processing 3 dimensional space time, how does that make you feel?
Trapped
>>18367198
>processing 3 dimensional space time
4 dimensional space/time*.
I mean, all day I sit in front of a digital terminal built with digital algorithms and process a 3-dimensional space/time. So... it makes feel fractally? I suppose. Is that a word?
If it ever ends, I feel like I'll have some efficient compression algorithms in memory ( applicable on many levels ) that will be worth while.

>>18366872
tl;dr A few days before he dies, a thread on a games forum happens to be discussing how sad they'll be when he dies.
This is probably pure coincidence, but it looks significant when taken out of context.
Woah. That is kinda spoopy.
>>18366872
Wait.
Robin Williams it's going to die???
