I have some questions about sleep paralysis and dreams.

Most people who have experienced sleep paralysis say that it's terrifying and spooky.

I've experienced it a few times but it was never even a little bit scary for me. And I'm not trying to be some sort of Imternet tough guy. But I always felt detached and indifferent when it happened to me.

Same with nightmares. I've had dreams that would be seen as scary and disturbing, but at the time I didn't feel scared at all. It was just like watching a movie. I felt nothing.

Is this normal

If you guys had to eat someone what criteria would matter most to you? Would you only eat men/women? Would you need to know their diets? Do you think you would be able to eat others if your life depended on it, or would you rather starve to death? Would you be picky about what parts you would be willing to eat and what you wouldn't be willing to eat?

I keep having dreams where I didn't finish school.

Its different every time, so it catches me every time.

I'm missing one credit in highschool but for some strange reason I just never went to class and forgot about it altogether. Somehow I just keep missing classes over and over again and never graduate.

What could this mean?

Seriously, you HAVE to see this.

I was bored as shit, so I started looking at Google Earth to pass the time, y'know see if I could find something interesting.
And I actually did.

The entire area around the antarctic is blurred off or very obviously copy/pasted terrain. They've done a terrible job hiding it.
The ocean around it is blurred as well. It's impossible to see any kind of detail.

If you look along the border (At the beginning of the blurry area), you will see patches of green.

Any idea what they're hiding, and why?
Please share your thoughts on this.

Can we talk about the universal common threads found in humanity's mythological history? i was reading up on inuit mythology when i came across the creature known as Ijiraq- its descriptions are incredibly similar to skinwalker legends. the Tariaksuq as well. wolf-human hybrids, shapeshifters, giant sea creatures, wildmen, and other mythological tropes are found in most human cultures with few variations.

is this simply a result of humanity's subconscious fears materializing themselves through our most ancient art of storytelling? or is it evidence that these things exist alongside us, we've just forgotten/ignored them in recent times?

Hey /x/, I have yet to leave /b/ and /y/ ever since I started visiting 4chan, but I think I want to talk about my paranormal experiences.
The first paranormal experience I've had was when I was probably about 10 (maybe younger, I'm not sure). I was playing in the basement with my siblings and all of the sudden we hear a loud boom. My mom was upstairs and dad was at work so we just brushed it off and assumed my mom dropped something heavy like a phone book or something (even though it was much louder than that). After a few minutes my mom comes downstairs and asks of if we were the ones who made the sound, and, confused, we said no. Then my mom went upstairs to the upstairs hallway and one of the ceramic covers for our light bulb just crashed to the floor. Pieces of it were everywhere, and my mom, who never believes in stuff like this, thought for sure it was a ghost and made us sleep in her room. That was my first, but I've had so many more experiences recently. My mom passed away last year for unrelated reasons, and sometimes I think she's haunting me (we didn't have the best relationship). I always see dark figures in the corner of my eye, peeking at me behind a wall and when I look at them I SWEAR I can see them quickly hide back behind the wall. Sometimes at night (only happened twice) I heard tapping downstairs. It sounds as if someone is tapping a drumstick on my kitchen counter. It sounds too... intentional for it to just be my house creaking on its own or something innocent like that. Also when my mom died, about a week later me and my cousin tried to summon her spirit at our beach house (fucking RETARDED I know) and when we did we saw a weird light spinning (idk how to describe it) in the sunroom and we ran back upstairs. Any explanation? Am I just paranoid or is something following me..?

Why does /x/ appear to eat up stupid shit like Skinwalkers, Djinn, Tulpas & Magic, but turn up its nose at shit that could actually be real like Bigfoot, Dogmen, Forbidden Archaeology (though I'll admit this subject is kind of all over the place), curious space anomalies and so forth?

Or is this simply the result of the double-standard disconnect between roleplaying believer culture on the board and the outspoken critic culture on this board who seem to have nothing better to do than call bullshit on anything and everything here.

Seems the only safe thing to talk about is obvious fiction like Lovecraft.

Hi /x iv come to seek answering regarding numbers, and numerology in general. Since the age of 19-20 (27 now) iv been seeing repeating number sequences. 911, 111, 1111, 222, 333, 444, 555, 666, 777,113, 924, 24 etc... Now i am desperate to understand what this means. No i am not waiting for the numbers, or trying to catch them, i don't believe they are meaningless or it is my subconscious recognizing the pattern and drawing my attention to it out of my preferential vision or whatever.

The only issue is i am not going to take one perspective on the numbers. One more piece of information is that the numbers do chance sometimes within months sometimes years and then a new number pattern starts showing itself.
