People always complain about how videos of strange things are always blurry, out of focus or just shitty in general.

Yet this video has been out for 60 years and everyone thinks it's fake, despite the fact that nobody has been able to prove it fake, and despite the fact that it's one of the best videos of a strange/paranormal/whatever occurrence ever.

It makes me think that people WANT to be skeptic assholes.

So, browsing occult and magick stuff, I seem to get the impression that a lot of spiritual enlightenment seems to be conceptually built around the dissolution of the self or ego death, and I'm just not sure I can get behind that kind of philosophy.

Any occult beliefs out there built around enhancing and experiencing the physical and conscious, rather than dismissing it as an illusion?

As opposed to non-visual snow which really sucks. A flake of cold wetness lands on you and you have no idea where it came from. Or even worse a pile of it falls off the roof or a tree limb on to you, WHOOSH!, invisible wet smack-down. It is funny if you find a drift of the stuff however and throw the dog's fetch-toy in it. Fido runs to get it and WOOF smack dab in to a pile of undetected stuff, freaks the dog out every time.

Who else does this? Has anyone here been compelled to set past a prior life for no apparent reason and journey to a new land? Does life seem richer, colder, or I guess more real at all? When immersing yourself in a new culture, even if it is a state or a nation away, do you pick up on the nuances that others take as mundane? It harkens me back to my youth in reading the Odyssey. Some day I will return back, but until then, life can be a trial of tests and wonder. Reason why I ask /x/, is that I find myself more intune.

Does any one else have a fear or a disquieting feeling about hearts? To me it feels so strange to have something pulsing inside of me so I can live. It's so eerie. Like there's an iron lung inside of me or something. My mom was a heart surgeon too.
