Let's face it /x/. As a species, we are on the brink of annihilation. We are never gonna make it through The Great Filter.

The Filter is a natural "border", where almost all lesser civilizations find themselves unable to surpass.
The reasons behind it? Countless, but a species' "maturity" level is the general rule of thumb.
According to the Kardashev Scale, civilizations can be categorized based on "resource management" which in turn is an indication of technology and civilization status. According to that Scale and in Carl Sagan's own words, humanity is no more than a 0.7 or 0.8 on the scale, where 1 represents a species capable of fully utilizing planetary resources.
However, when a species reaches that tipping point, it passes through the Filter, which ultimately decides if the species is worthy to survive. But the key here, is that most civilizations don't make it past the Filter.
Wars, greed, corruption, division, hatred, even natural phenomena, will contribute to that species' annihilation.
And guess what /x/.

The signs are all over.

Is there any theories about the supernatural properties of melanin? I heard a talk about it, and that's why Africans tend to be more spiritually attuned. I dated a jewish girl for 3 months and then we broke up. She had a hamesh tattoo on her arm, without the eye. I noticed that also her mom and grandmom had the same tattoo. After leaving her i felt a great sense of unease, and also had nightmares. After that (1.5 years ago) i experienced a strike of only bad luck. It's a very consistent thing.
