This. Given a sufficiently large and complex text sample, it's possible to find almost any information if you search long enough and have the benefit of hindsight. This is true of any long book (600,000+ words), people do it all the time with the Bible. You could find 9/11 predictions in the Lord of the Rings or that 2 million word long Pokemon fanfiction. The real trick would be identifying a book which accurately predicts future events.

I'm not sure if it's paranormal but I think there's a possibility, so I'll ask here. The past few weeks I've been having very vivid nightmares/night terrors with a central theme of being on a flat plane surrounded by fog. In my dreams I'm usually hurt in some way, usually broken bones, and I'll see one of two figures. One is a head with facial features that are hard to focus on and a very greasy beard/hair on a floating black mass. The other is a floating eyes, hair and teeth without any actual head.
I think the figure will almost always talk to me about something very specific, even if it doesn't mean anything to me. Is there any paranormal explanation for these dreams (keeping in mind I've been having them every night for the past ~3 weeks). The picture is my best attempt at trying to recreate the two figures, but I am not an artist.
Does this mean anything?

really old stuff? not so much. archives are spotty and scattered. I don't have links other than the archive link on the front page. someone else might. probably the closest thing you'll find to a collection of good archive of OC is a "best of /x/" thread. the old chanarchive used to only save threads that got enough votes, so that had some good shit. but I think it's gone now. the current archive only goes back so far and it saves everything regardless of quality.
/x/ is spookier when you're new and haven't discussed the same topics in the same threads 50 times. as for whether it used to be objectively spookier...maybe? it seems like there was more OC back then. but criticism on 4chan is harsh, and if you don't write much and aren't accustomed to taking a couple on the chin, you're more likely to stop trying to produce content. the people that are already pretty good are probably writing their first novel, not posting creepypasta. and people get pissy when they find out a particularly good and plausible thread/series of threads is an RP or an ARG, so those formats aren't as welcome anymore. right now, greentext stories are about the only OC you see now are actually accepted. hopefully it'll swing back around and people write more pasta. but so many stories have been done and redone that it's hard.
I miss getting spooped.

Okay, so does this count too? (I'm not OP) A few weeks ago I had a dream where I was hiding on the floor of the backseat of a car, terrified that whoever was in the front seat would hear me.
Then I woke up, kinda, and I was just positive that there was someone sitting in the chair at my desk, turned away from me, but I couldn't seem to move. Now, even though I was scared to death in the dream about the car, I really just felt confused about the guy in my chair, and the fact that I couldn't move. And after some amount of time, I have no idea how long, I realized that no, there wasn't anyone in my chair, that's dumb, and I could start to move again. So even though I wasn't really scared in the 'laying in bed and can't move' bit, is that still the same phenomenon?

I do a meditation for it that helps open them and I always feel great afterwards.

If one wants to. How I do it is by laying down, making my brain shut up (I guess you'd call that a meditative state) and then I imagine a ball of light passing through my chakras one by one, clearing up anything on its wake. I stay on each one until it feels nice and cleared up.

Yes. I have a clear quartz shard that I never take off, it's good for this kind of meditation. Also, since crystals already work for you, you should incorporate them as much as possible. Herbs work really well with me so I use them for pretty much everything.

Problems don't disappear. Having your chakras be open only helps with dealing with your problems, though solving problems will help keep them open.
