ya pretty simular to what i do man. shits fucked up. some times i get off on it seeing how long i can freak myself out while staring into my eyes or thrid eye. my reflection seem to give off a haha mother fucker im here im evil vibe or a scared little soul lost and helpless vibe . sometimes i do a meditation trying to find my true souls reflection but honestly the mirror image seems fucked up. also i hate looking into the mirror in the dark >>18795253

Ok, so a close friend of mine called me tonight in crisis telling me theres no point of living. Telling me hes not sleeping, severe anxiety, insane nightmares.
Hes good looking, makes money, fit, smart and all around very happy person.
I know about a year ago he started getting into metaphysics and meditation, telling me about how the "3rd eye" is real ect ect. I suspect somehow his meditation is causing his mental crisis.
My question is, can meditation, 3rd eye whatever cause this mental crisis? If so, any advice to help solve it? Im legit concerned and cant go on fuckbook/plebbit.
Tldr: I think my friend may have been inadvertently worshipping the devil and is now possessed.

Anxiety, paranoia and despair are hallmarks of spiritual attack. Sounds alot like Demons in particular.
As for how to help, only real way to shake it off is to just fight through it. Magic can probably help, placing some wards against evil spirits and wearing crystals and items that he believes will help will probably help. But the most important thing for him to know is that he will get through it. If he can just fight as hard as he possibly can for one or two weeks, any anxiety or depression left can be treated proffesionally.
Not an expert psychiatrist, but have been in his shoes after trying to do stuff way above my level. Make absolute sure he doesnt think hes alone.

The Jewish war against the gods is endless in the New Testament except in the gospels where Jesus seems to have a generally cordial relationship with the Romans - with multiple Romans showing submission to Jesus that even his own disciples don't show.
Clearly not all is what it seems in the New Testament. Jesus didn't mention "idols" once and the gospels have a strong pro-Roman bias.

Ok guys I've got something I need some answers to I can catch you up with recent events if you can answer the riddle I found in this graveyard.
First 3 black candles one looked to be purposely smashed against a gravestone, which is strange in its own right but it got weirder. I look down and notice a jar it doesn't look to old and due to recent heavy rainfall it was only half buried which is the only reason I noticed it this time even though I was there a week prior and only notice the candles the first time. Lastly inside said jar had a light and dark liquid more watery than oily as well as a name on a piece of paper. Pic very related any ideas?

So, /x/. I've been pondering the age-old question "What is the meaning of life?" for the past few years now. The main conclusion I've come upon is the same as many others, that there is no inherent point to our existence. Others that have come to this conclusion seem to have two distinctly separate responses to this:
"There's no meaning to life, woe is me, what's the point in living."
and
"There's no meaning to life, I'm free to do whatever I please!"
For those of you who assume this is correct, what stance do you take on it? The positive side, or the negative side? Or somewhere in between?
Also along these lines, I've found a number of people say that there is a meaning to living, and we're here to learn lessons, and repeatedly live out or lives until we've learned it all. Is there any merit in that? I would argue that, if that is the case, it isn't the meaning of life, but rather the path to discovering the meaning of life. Would enlightenment be discovering that there is no meaning? Have we reached it, and not realized it?
Discussion is welcome.

Meditation, visualization, mind control
If you want to develop as a Magician, certain techniques of mind control are necessary to learn, as it is these techniques which open the doors within the mind..doors which give access to the power needed to project energy (for want of a better word) in things like, spell casting, charging Talismans, Invocation, evocation. In other words, altered states of consciousness are the key to Magickal powers. Very little success with Magick will be possible until the student is able to concentrate, Meditate, and visualise. All of these abilities are brought into play whenever an act of Magick is performed.
The best time for doing these exercises is right after the Opening Rite (Banishing of the Dark Lord or other) and the Middle Pillar rites. The activated centers will assist in your undertakings, more so as they develop and the chakra's opened.
Relaxation and motionlessness. first you need a straight back chair to sit on, and if you desire, a small cushion to support your back to aid comfort. Now, sitting in your chair, you place your hands palm down on your legs. (If you have a crystal, this may be placed in between your hands which rest on your lap.) Try now to just sit in this position without movement, you will become uncomfortable, there will be aches, itches, your mind will also prove to be a playground of wandering and unrelated thoughts. All this will distract you from what seems to be a simple task.
Persistance, however, will be needed over days, weeks and months to bring your body to a stage where these symptoms disapear.
While in this position just focus on your breath, as it goes in and goes out. Just observe the current of the breath, and try to concentrate on the breath only, ignoring other thoughts that may arise. ( relaxation can be improved by visualising the exhaling breath removing all tensions..Start with the feet, inhale while visualising your feet, and exhale as you visualise the feet relaxing ..
