Any Freemasons here that can give me a quick rundown?
I inquired, and this cool older guy gave me a call back. He was very frank, and happy to answer my questions. I told him why I was interested(knowledge/math/geometry/God/history/America) and he seemed to understand. He dispelled some myths about the level of control they have, and have had. He dispelled the stories about Freemasons recruiting, and rushing people through the steps for dwindling dues. He told me that Freemasons NEVER recruit, it's against their laws. He told me to keep an eye out for bumper stickers that read "I can't tell you, but you can ask." He confirmed that Freemasonry requires a belief in a creator(he reluctantly admitted they call Him the "Grand Architect." He also told me that Freemasonry requires a belief in the in the "immortality of the soul." I really dug that.
We talked about the role of Freemasons. I told him I wasn't too interested in good deeds, to help mankind. I told him that, if the gist of Freemasonry is feeding the poor, I'm not a good fit. He responded cryptically, implying that they don't help the helpless, so to speak.
We spoke of what the "ancient secrets" really are. Pretty much just language, and math. Many of us already know the "ancient secrets"(STEM!). Most of us seem to not recognize their value.

Anyway, I'm going to the din-din with the illuminated. Gunna be interesting, and at worst, I'll get a free meal. And you'd have to break my arm before I pay a due, for knowledge I can Google, or buy in the Goodwill book bin.

Some strange (likely paranormal) shit has been happening to me lately, and I need to know if someone here might know something about what's going on with me. The odd thing is that this strange stuff started happening when I went into psychotic depression and stopped happening as I got out of it with antidepressants and antipsychotics, but I know for a fact that some of the shit I went through was absolutely real. I don't know how to ask this, but I need a way to sort that shit out. Please.

Hello /x/. Recently I have had very disturbing things happen to me that lead me to think there is a dark entity attached to me. In the past week I have had the most vivid lucid dreams one can ever have. I mean, every single detail was so clear. I have lucid dreamed before but not like this. These dreams are nightmares. Absolute terrors in which I know I am dreaming but have absolutely no power. I used to be able to at least get myself to wake up from them but not even that anymore. In my dreams I am getting captured, tortured, manipulated. In every one of these dreams someone is trying to get me to obey. It is my only choice to do as they say. The only time I wake up is if I get killed or some demon like creature with all black eyes attacks me. I specifically remember in one dream FEELING being stabbed. I woke up full of fear and sweating. Outside of sleeping, I feel very unmotivated and very anxious all the time. Easily angered too. What should I do /x/? A friend recommended I buy white sage and cleanse but will that really be strong enough to chase whatever it is away? I do not identify with any religion but I would loosely call myself spiritual.

Where would we be without proper communication? What if we couldn't put art on a page or share our thoughts and feelings with others?

Written word not only allows us to progress technologically, but also artistically/emotionally. I chose to represent written word and its impact on mankind with an inkwell, a vial of the literal blood that is modern lettering. A world where literature, ancient texts, classic compositions, and artwork couldn't be recorded or even exist is a very bleak one.

Have you guys seen this spiderman and Elsa cartoon shit floating around Youtube? There are countless videos out there that appear to be geared toward kids or toddlers, but most of the content in the videos have nothing to do with casual kids shows. One episode shows Elsa accidentally cutting her hand with a knife, and another one showing her pregnant. And these videos have an insane amount of views, some pushing 100 million views. So what the hell is this shit /x/?
