Posted this on the SQT on /g/, but got no answer.
I've been using Waterfox for a while, and I decided to try Nightly.
Great, all my extensions/user scripts moved automatically, except:
- Clicking a tab doesn't focuses on it, you have to Ctrl+Tab to reach it.
- Middle click opens a new tab instead of closing it.
- There's also these ugly ass buttons.
Searching for solutions, I only found one that supposedly works for the second problem, but it doesn't fix anything.
For now, this makes it unusable.
Does anyone work how to fix any of these problems?
im using nightly (+ classic theme restorer) and i dont get any of that, it has to be some extension that is doing that
post your extension/addon list (about:support) or disable one by one and see if you can replicate the issue

Weird, I uninstalled and reinstalled it before and tried again and now the first two problems are gone.
Third time's the charm, I guess.
The icons are still ugly, but I guess that has something to do with the theme so I'll figure it out playing with the style.
Maybe it had some kind of conflict with Waterfox, but it's semi-solved now, thanks.
Anyone have the cap of the story of the guy who dates a loli in China, I think? It's a pretty long image and it was posted in a loli thread on /a/ but I stupidly exited the thread and a faggo mod deleted it and it doesn't seem to have archived on desuarchive.

When did Kumiko cry like that?
>>269445
When she found out the series was bait from the outset.
Can someone please edit this to say "Waifu" instead. Thx <3

Anyone have the flag bearer meme of the Canadian red ensign?
This one?
>>269454
Close. The one I am thinking of has just the Mountie with the red ensign. A little bit more detail.
Anyone have a link to the version of "The Mother We Share" by Chvrches that the left and right tracks are slightly off or desynced?
Thanks

I need a new operating system for my computer -Windows 10 is going to drive me mad- and I was thinking on getting a Linux based one. I already have Tails but I want an operating system I can actually install in my computer.
Which one should I choose?

Is there anyone willing to provide scans for this manga series through the Young GanGan magazine or does anyone know some groups who would be willing to do so?
It's published in the Young GanGan magazine and I believe it is monthly (may be bi-weekly now) but I have no clue where to find someone who can provide these scans.
Thanks.
>>275791
Also, I have been unable to find it on Nya
As far as I know the group currently doing this does them through the tankobon releases.
The only site I know that posts Mag scans regularly has not posted YGG since 2015.
>>276013
Would you happen to know a group which does a manga from Young GanGan? I could try asking them where they get their scans

I want to start watching anime preferably Haruhi. What are some good shoes to watch?
>>275040
haruhi
>>275040
Nikes or Adidas are good shoes.
But seriously,
Haruhi (chronological order)
Disappearance of Haruhi
other Haruhi stuff isn't worth it to watch
After that, watch every other Kyoani show.
>>275040
OK cool kyoani is the studio that makes all the anime? Most of their shows are laid back?
Guys, google failed me, I tried everything. I am searching for a bad RPG game with female protagonist where you can have party, and you start in a coastal city. The game is 3D and I wouldn't call it super old, probably made between 2003-2010. That's all I remember. Also there is turn based combat when u encounter enemies, and i THINK the title has either "GOD" or "GODS" in it.
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP, ITS DRIVING ME CRAZY.

Gonna need some more info here.
Anything. Character design. Art style. Combat styles. Any quirks.
I really don't recall much except for what I wrote up.
I think the many of first enemies you could fight were giant frogs or something. I don't even remember the plot, but I think it was something about searching for a weapon of some sort. I don't remember how the girl looked like, art style... hmmm... I remember the grass and overall design was all blurry, on max settings. Definetly PC game, I had it on a CD from a magazine.
Combat was turn-based like in chrono trigger or final fantasy. That's all I remember.
Futuristic? Medieval? Steampunk? Modern day?
I've never requested for anime recommendations before, but I'm kind of getting sick of recent animes that sets up for sequels/cliffhangers that would never happen. So I'm asking for recommendations on anime series that actually tells a complete story. Any number of episodes or any genre as long as you think it tells a compelling story and have a satisfying ending. Thanks /wsr/

>I find a CD cover in the trash, without the CD
>I keep it and download all the music that suposed to be in the CD and save it in a virgin CD
>I put that new media in the cover
>I announce it on eBay, explaining in the ad that the original CD was lost and I had to record all the music in a virgin media
I'll be doing something illegal? Can I get in trouble?
>>275634
Yes, and yes.
The license follows the CD, not its packaging.
>>275636
How can the authorities prove that I am not the owner of the CD? It's not like people associate their names with the CDs when they're buying it.
>>275685
>It's not illegal if no-one finds out.
Aside from anything else, eBay explicitly says you can't do this, and you'll just get your account suspended.

requesting a little tech support please
I got a new lenovo laptop two days ago and i already installed a bunch of things on it (also removed a bunch of bloatware from it) and transfered some files and movies.
thing is, i just remembered that it might be a good idea to partition the hd a bit so that c has mainly windows system files on it.
i've never really used partitions before, when they didn't come prepartitioned (my last laptop came with a 100gb disk where it didn't seem to make a lot of sense to partition either)
so i'm asking if this still makes sense now:
1. Create a new partition big enough to take the media files already on the system and move them.
2. defrag c and move files to the start of the partition
3. shrink down c partition while enlarging the one created in 1)
is that how it works? and can i do that with windows 7's disk manager without too much trouble?
how much room should i leave for c partition (windows 7 pro). do i need to keep a buffer for programs that force themselves on c? is that still a thing?
anything else i need to be wary about?
here's how the disk is split up now. S: seems to be part of lenovos recovery system, while Q: is the partition actually holding the factory reset backup.
i guess the very last entry is for sleep mode.
thanks already, please be patient with me
>>275594
You cannot change the patition of the system that is active except enlarging it iirc. The manager does not support that. You will have to boot some live system and start a disk manager there.
>>275607
like some linux distro?
i think the only one i have on a stick (the laptop doesnt have a cd drive) is a tails distro i tried out of curiosity. would that work or do i need a new one?
any suggestions on a good live system or a small one used basically just for this?
>>275613
Any live system goes.
They all have a disk manager on board, often GParted which is extremely powerful. It can shrink partitions while relocating all files affected by this.
The windows manager works well if started from another system. It just denies shrinking the partition that its own system is currently running from.
Classics like Knoppix are always a good choice. The one I used is https://spins.fedoraproject.org/xfce/
(useD because it's so good I installed it and am right now using it from disk...)
It too works as a live system if you don't want to install it and definitely has GParted on board.
