yo wsr, can any of you do some very simple programming?
Essentially, i have just gotten 4000 music files, all named stuff like 10185429 (idk what song this is) but they are all soundcloud IDs. So what i would like it to do is rename the 101010101.mp3 (random number) to ARTIST - NAME.mp3. the names can be taken from the soundcloud page directly. i also cant figure out how to visit songs by track id.

Go here:
https://w.soundcloud.com/player/api_playground.html
On the left you'll see a bar for soundcloud urls or whatever.
Put this in:
http://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/[ID HERE]
Then hit reload widget.
It should load the song.

Someone can explain this magic trick?
Having a bowl and chopsticks. Put the chopsticks in the bowl vertical and they keep standing.
In picture water is used, but I was told it is also working without.
Got this story from a chinese friend. The grandmother was using it to cure illness. I dont believe it, but cant explain the trick.

Wood doesnt soak water so quickly and even if it would do, the weight wouldnt be enough to let them stand vertical

iirc there was a follow up image to this one with kaguya's head bandaged, but I lost it a while ago.

Do you guys know any good photo viewers for Mac?
The one I've been using (Xee) is pretty good because it's lightweight and I can use the arrow keys to flip through other images in the folder. Problem is that it is just crashes too much.
I don't want to edit images or have any fancy UI. Just want something simple that will quickly open an image when I click on it.

Preview would have been fine, but you can't flip through other images with it. I tried Phoenix and Sequential, but they're not what I'm looking for. I'll still have to try Lilyview.

So Im actually looking for a song/single.
I dont know the title anymore and I dont know the artist either...
It's on the tip of my tongue, for several weeks now on and on...
I need to find it.
Here is what I know:
The cd cover of the single (or was it the music clip?!) had an apple on it, red I think, either rotten or with a worm in it.
The single came out or was popular sometime around 1994-1998 I would say.
I didnt find it looking reading through the top100 singles on wikipedia for the years 1993-1999... maybe I just missed it... but it was rather well known, certainly not niche.(as it was shown quite frequently on TV and the single was sold in general stores like wal mart, or in my case karstadt)
come on, Im desperate and I know that some of you guys know what I mean.
