New Kodi 'Krypton' user here.
Currently setting up Kodi to remote access the media file sources I have stores locally on my PC from my Sony AndroidTV.

Using this method, it was not a problem to make the Kodi running on the TV to recognise, browse and view my local 'My Movies' and 'My TV Series' folder.
Trying the same procedure with 'My Music' and 'My Pictures' doesn't seem to work, as the File-tree isn't shown on the TV when brosing for new sources, but is shown on the PC itself. I just trying to access the folders/files themselves via Kodi on the TV.

I have tried tricking the system by adding the 'My Music' folder to Kodi's 'Video' section and link that to the TV's 'Music' section, but that too failed. The folders are simply not shown

I am running out of ideas.
Has anyone had similar experiences? Or knows a fix?
Some working 'Anime' Repos would be appreciated.

I am basically begging for either a permanent solution to this PC problem, or the sweet relief of death at this point

/g/ hates this shit so I'm posting it here. My PC is a good few years old now and is in need of upgrading. My CPU and mobo are fine for now, but my GPU is aged. I have a GTX 670.

I want to upgrade, but bitcoin miners have fucked the market. I want a good deal, but not overkill. I am not interested in 4k shit, I don't want to upgrade my monitor for it.

all right, didnt know where to really ask this but id figured this board might be of help

so this fucker has been giving me trouble all week. Im trying to do a favor a for a family memeber who runs a restaurant and she asked me if I try to reset this fingerprint check in terminal. She fucked up somehow by erasing her admin credentials and now she's locked out from it. I tried all sorts of shit, downloaded software, opened up the hardware, etc., but no dice. This thing is weird, its a really basic ass terminal, but weird. when i hook it up to a computer it just simply recognizes as a "fingerprint module usb device". The weirder thing is that when i try to connect it to the software that supposedly is suppose to help me reset this thing it wont connect with the device.

if anything, could anyone please guide me to the right board/website to ask about this? I really wanna get this shit solved already, its been bugging the fuck out of me.
