I'm going to buy a new laptop and I need to choose between a 250 Go ssd and a 1 To sshd (8 Go ssd). Mostly for studying and light programming, but I'm not sure if 250 is enough. The machine will run some sort of Linux so I probably will want to use virtual machines and I have to get rid of the CD reader if I want a second hard drive and it would cost more. Please help me out.

250 is enough. VMs can take up a considerable amount of space, but that all depends, obviously. I'm sure you know how fixed/dynamic space works, so I won't get into it.
I've got a shit-ton of music and general applications, and I've only used 100.63 GB. Of course, that's not a lot for you to go off on, but your experience will obviously vary, so no point.
Anyway, I'd say 250 is enough.

Definitely, definitely go with the SSHD. All that money you spent on the SSD? You're just flushing it down the toilet when you discover the SSD is full, and you need to buy another SSD for more than twice the price.
Unless you're using the laptop as a second machine, and all your media is on a NAS or similar, 240GB (really 224GB) is simply not enough.

I'm looking for a story/short story I read ages ago. All I remember is that its set ambiguously but there's these villagers or townsfolk and they shun this guy and beat on him and basically treat him like trash because he has wings and basically it was revealed that he was an angel sent from god in the end but they didn't let him speak.

Seemingly impossible to find soundtrack - the official releases don't have a lot of the orchestral scores, which are absolutely amazing.
In particular looking for tracks 'Save El Dorado' and 'Cortez' in lossless or high quality.
I know they exist, but somehow it appears impossible to track these down in better than 192kbps mp3.

Update: Found in 320kbps mp3 on a russian site, but lossless remains untraceable.
Search expanded to a complete Hans Zimmer discography in lossless quality, that contains CD2 of the Save El Dorado soundtrack, with the aforementioned tracks.

For some reason when torrenting to my external HDD it'll disconnect and other usb connected items will as well. Why does this happen and how can I fix it?
