free video editing software?

im looking to make a few youtube videos shitting on spiderman homecoming and i need something that can do simple tasks like overlaying audio, short graphics like fading, or maybe picture in picture if im feeling lucky. i dont want to download one that works but sucks since i may want to use it consistently and dont want to waste time learning one that sucks.

would the youtube editor be enough for like an hour long hd video? ive heard nothing about it but i imaging its for simple like 10 minute vlogs.

im using shadowplay to record desktop video and audacity for audio.

Trying to remember the name of an artist I heard a few songs from many many years ago. I'm a bit fuzzy on whether or not the details are right, but here's a breakdown of what I remember to go on.

>Japanese female lead vocalist
>A mixture of Jpop and electronic style
>One of the music videos features her walking down a hallway wearing fuzzy legwarmers, many doors on either side that lead to hotel rooms with various trippy situations. Later in the video, there's a straight up Nazi rally (although not actually displaying anything Nazi-related, just visually obvious reference)

Any help in rediscovering this artist is much appreciated.

Also, to avoid making a second thread, I'm also trying to remember the name of that one male Japanese artist that was super mainstream and huge in the industry for a few years a while back. He had a very non-dark goth/edgy sort of style about him. I remember one of his music videos had him traveling across a desert in a caravan of some description.

Can someone make the blue backdrop of this photo "fade Transparent" please. Like can you make the top of the blue backdrop 0% opacity (Transparent) and as it goes down a fade takes effect till it reaches the bottom which would be 100% opacity (full blue). All while keeping the symbol and text intact please!!!
