Trying to dual-boot mint and Windows 8, but Windows doesn't show up in the boot menu.

If you add Linux and Windows to the EFI boot list, then set an EFI boot timeout, your BIOS will ask you which one you want, and you won't have to disable fast boot like in >>335108.

I'm currently searching for a free video cutting tool which doesn't have adware or other stuff.
I only found Tools which looks shady so far and i tried Blender but the Editor runs badly even after setting my GPU up and disabling anti-aliasing.

A website I use for reading novels is trying to load some elements every few seconds. Since I leave the tab pinned, it amounts to tens of thousands of blocked elements in an hour, and the site won't stop reloading.
How can I stop this shit?
According to the Firefox loading bar, most of the requests are from one domain, called ssp.streamrail.com
Is there a way to block a domain like this with ublock, or disable loading new content for a single tab entirely?
I tried an option in Firefox' about:config, but it didn't do anything.
Most addons I found just disable loading until the tab is active, but since it only needs to load the text once, there is no reason for this tab to update at all.
