trouble is, the trail goes cold at that point, it's unclear where the google+ guy got them

if all you want is a good quality version, take the google plus ones and run them through waifu2x denoiser–it'll look fine.

Windows 10 is poorly optimized, especially if you upgraded to it.

Anyhoo OP, it's your 1070, and your not overclocking your processor.

2700K and 7700K are essentially interchangeable, so long as you actually do overclock them. 7700K is 30-40% faster at stock speeds, but that's only because its stock speed is 30% faster.

1070 is a waste of an i7. It may be new and sexy, but it's still a midrange card.

I suggest you download Soulseek and get it off of there. Search: " kill your idols avi " and you'll see a couple people sharing it.

The people online sharing something change all the time too, so there could be better(H.264) versions of it shared that just aren't online right now. Be sure to share stuff if you keep using slsk.

Is this just the way UAC works in 10? Try just clicking ok/etc to give yourself permission.

Control Panel, Users, Manage User Accounts? If you can't change that or right click things to "Do As Administrator", I dunno man. Full answer is to reinstall and set up you computer better. If its a school or work one, ask a network admin

If I remember, you can change the permissions settings navigating from the properties menu.
