Hey /wsr/, I'm not a regular here, but I'm looking to get a few queries sorted from anyone into technology if at all possible.

I recently went to a tech shop looking to get an old laptop refurbished and factory reset, but I was informed that there was quite a bit too much wrong with the casing for it to be very cost effective, so I figured I'd open it up to extract and sell the parts instead.

Issue is, I have no idea how much to sell these sorts of things for, nor which parts in particular are worth any amount of value. And I'm aware that shops may try to undercut me if I go there so they can make a larger profit - taking advantage of my ignorance. So I'd prefer to sell things online on my own terms if possible.

The laptop in question is is an aroundish 6 - 7 year old Asus, though I didn't use it for around 2 years. Specs are in the image.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Poorfag with a toaster here. I've saved up a few hundred dollars, but I'm wondering if I can get away with upgrading only the video card to start with even though the whole system is currently a tragedy.

The gory details:
Core2 Duo
3GB RAM
GeForce GT 730

Main question: should I first replace the CPU/RAM/MB, or the video card? I should be able to save up to replace everything eventually, but I'd like to improve something soon. Obviously until I get everything updated there will be severe bottlenecks, but which is the least worst option: a) only GPU, or b) CPU/RAM/MB?

On a side note, I'm looking at the 1050 Ti. Low graphics is fine, as long as the game runs at all (I don't want to risk the game noping on me due to low specs). And it's a massive step up from what I have.

Note: The product used to be called nCircle CCM before Tripwire bought to suck off the Gartner magic quadrant tards.

I am looking for a PDF or other doc of the Tripwire CCM User Guide. Particularly the part covering policy development that has the CCM functions and the command syntax. A reference manual even would be better.

Google is turning nothing on this one. If you can help out, thanks in advance.
