You can use Audacity to open up a music file, then go to where I've clicked and select "Spectrogram".
Here's a quick list of cutoffs to look out for:
64 kbps - 11kHz
128 kbps - 16 kHz
192 kbps - 19 kHz
320 kbps - 20 kHz
(FLAC) 1000 kbps or higher - 22 kHz or higher

And a FLAC file for comparison. As you can see, the MP3 cuts off at 20 kHz, as it should, and this cuts off at 22 kHz.

And one last banana, go to Edit -> Preferences and then "Spectrograms" and make your options something like this. I don't actually know what they should be, but if you don't put either the window size or the maximum frequency high enough, then the spectrogram is limited to the default, which is something like 8 kHz, which isn't what you want.

I don't know if this is the best place, but could someone or some people explain this please. Why is some anime so violent? By that, I will give examples. They were clips of some dude killing people with a Luger unless their friends showed themselves, a girl being stabbed on a couch by another girl while being handcuffed to said couch, and some little girl getting her head cut off by some alien princess girl. Is this the guro anime I keep hearing about?

I recently took a Chinese (mandarin) class and I want to use music as motivation to study Chinese again in the future.
Artists/bands I like: Mariko Goto, Midori, YAPOOS, Soutaisei Riron, anderlust, Broadcast, Humming Urban Stereo, Lamp, Stereolab, YMO.
I also really like Jun Togawa's voice and I enjoy city pop if that helps

So, as you are aware a laptop's performance is boosted when it is charging, my question is: do you guys know any method/application that makes your computer keep that boost?(obviously battery duration is not important)

the reason you get a boost when the laptop is charging.. is because when it's running from its battery, the laptop scales some stuff down, to use less power. the CPU and graphics card aren't allowed to work at full strength.
you can override this and tell the laptop to run at full strength no matter how quickly it runs the battery down - there should be something in the power settings, depending on what OS you're using.
