/r/equesting a mod for clairification of the
>Asking for tech support or help with your homework.
part of the rules
4chan is a 18+ website, so homework requests should be banned or is this referring to uni/college coursework?
Homework has never been an exclusively 17 and under thing, so it obviously shouldn't be banned for being under 18, just being against the rules.
If someone wants to assume someone is under 18 because they have homework, that's on them and their stupidity.
Presumably the latter but I would not be surprised if the mod that wrote those rules is under 18 and screwed up.

>At age 33, I am a loser, jobless and virgin, who only has remorse and pity for myself. Called by Anna, my secret crush in my childhood, and her fiance, I come to face the reality. But after I fall from the roof (caught wearing a grade school girl's swimsuit) I find myself to be back in the past. Now I will get my life back.
Are you sure this is anything like the manga I requested?
Will still give it a try though, the only out of the three I didn't know about

why has fun been outlawed on /sp/ and /v/?
i remember all the fun threads. /sp/ isn't too bad; mods have largely stopped banning you for half-time fap-time pics, but /v/ is a shitshow. Any topic that might cause some debate gets deleted.

I want opinions on this story premise I'm working on.
---
"None shall die alone or unknown."
On October 13, 2015, 8:02 PM, that is the simple message two young men get in their emails from their estranged father, who one year prior inexplicably and plainly told them that they would not inherit anything from him. No house, no land, no money, nothing.
They think nothing of it, and go about their day.
A daydream comes to them, one where they see their father's own day, as experienced through his bedridden body.
The dream ends on October 14, 2015, 8:02 PM, with him dying alone in his dark room, as his voice echoes in their minds:
"None shall die alone or unknown."
They then find themselves on October 13, 2015, 8:02 PM.
This is the story of a repeating day, of the passing of a torch, of the beginning of two people who become the world's Confidants.

Did this premise entice you to read this story?
If you're interested in this, and even want to collaborate with me on it, look up "Cold Bricks Glow" on wordpress.

Change it to Cold Dicks Grow

story's premise is not organized in such a way to catch people's attention, catchphrase sounds slightly awkward
for example "inexplicably and plainly" just starts to drag, too many adverbs spoil the soup
i only read things with cute girls in it so i'll probably pass, but good luck

Nice get. And I'm not well-versed in the art of seduction.

When I get it published, it won't be titled that. It's a hidden Groundhog Day reference, but it wouldn't be a suitable enough title for the novel.
This seems like the perfect place to establish a SFW draw thread.
>What is this?
It's a draw thread, retard. Anons request drawings and, assuming you have artistic talent, you draw it.

Let's learn Japanese, friends!
>First, completely disown romaji and learn the two syllabaries of the language: hiragana and katakana. Learn the stroke order as well; the Japanese are very strict about it.

>Next, get Rikaikun if you are using Chrome or Rikaichan if you are using Firefox. When enabled, both of them will translate any Japanese word or character you hover over.

(The king of all Japanese resources. This is a grammar guide that covers everything you need to know for beginner to intermediate Japanese grammar.)

(I didn't find this one particularly attractive, but if you like learning informally, then this would work well for kanji.)

(Think a mix between Wanikani and Anki.)
>If you do want to obtain resources in print, you could check out some reviews of them online. Bear in mind that these are usually the reviews of one person and may not necessarily reflect your learning style.

>(Make sure to obtain a vocabulary dictionary, a kanji dictionary, some grammar guides, and a bunch of textbooks if you are willing to do this.)
>Finally, I'm including a relatively small dump of three beginner's textbooks (Genki I, Minna no Nihongo, and Japanese for Busy People) and a few extra stuff, like the pdf form of the entire http://www.guidetojapanese.org/ website. The extra stuff is located in the folder called "Japanese," because I'm a lazy weeaboo and didn't rename it.
