Sorry this is a really specific one. I'm looking for a "you should know how to solve this" with an algebra question. It was Kurisu, like this image but a different question. It was on /r9k/ at one point so I looked through archieves and on google and couldn't find it. I think one of the answers was 14 (or 12, it was a two digit number and the first digit was 1) and the second answer might've been 6, but I'm not to sure honestly.

It follows from the half angle formula, pic related, you can see it proven at http://www.intmath.com/analytic-trigonometry/4-half-angle-formulas.php
Also, keep in mind
csc(x)=1/secx,
ctg(x)=1/tan(x)=cos(x)/sin(x)
With that and the half angle formula you'll see that the two expressions inside the natural logarithm are equivalent.

If you scroll a little down there are vector images of pokemon. You might have to click on one but you'll just get a small 300x300 preview. I was wondering if through the code or otherwise there was a way to extract the raw svg files of these images

Hey guys I need some help. Is there anyway to use my laptops sound card instead of the sound card from this usb headset? I have my EQ set up on Realtek for fps gaming but the EQ on this headset does not have enough options. So is there a way to just use it as a ordinary headset using the settings from Realtek? Thanks

So I'm able to buy a defect PS4 for less than half price (around what is equivalent of 100ยฃ), to put it in perspective, a new PS4 costs around 220-250ยฃ in my country.
Is this worthwile? Would it pay off? I'm really only going to use it to play BB, and other exclusives, as I have a PC anyway.
The problem with the PS4 is that the optical drive is faulty, and I'm thinking of getting it repaired (either through Sony, or a third part), and get it much cheaper that way.

Personally, I'd say its worth it. There are some pretty sick exclusives on PS4, up and coming as well. I got one just to be able to play The Last Guardian when it releases.
It sounds like a good deal, so long as you can get it repaired cheaply. My only issue with PS4 is the subscription fee, but so long as you're playing single player exclusives, that won't be a problem.
Really it all comes down to how much you want it. Are the exclusives offered worth it to you? If yeah, then go for it.
Or I guess you could wait for the eventual illegal ports and torrent those or something. Your choice.

As long as the story is decent, in english, and and the artwork isn't horrendous, I'll probably read it. I've recently read Dungeon Meshi, Zombie Roomie, god help me for saying this but Yellow Peril, and I like to stay up to date on xkcd and SMBC. Thanks a lot!

So I'm pretty new to watching anime, at least watching a lot of it and last year I really enjoyed a lot of the shorts that were airing. So could guys recommend some short anime? Anything 15 minutes or less will be fine, I watched most of the shorts from the last 2 seasons so there's no point mentioning those or their previous seasons
