Help me create a polynomial function with this given information:
Zeros: -3, multiplicity 1; -2, multiplicity 2; degree 3
What you want is (x+3)(x+2)(x+2).
The developed form is x^3 + 7x^2 + 16x + 12.
Thank you very much, Something about the way it was worded threw me off.
Please add this text to my image in a way that looks attractive. Thank you.
"The totalitarian states can do great things, but there is one thing they cannot do: they cannot give the factory-worker a rifle and tell him to take it home and keep it in his bedroom. THAT RIFLE HANGING ON THE WALL OF THE WORKING-CLASS FLAT OR LABOURER'S COTTAGE, IS THE SYMBOL OF DEMOCRACY. IT IS OUR JOB TO SEE THAT IT STAYS THERE."—George Orwell, author (1984, Animal Farm) and originator of the term "cold war".
Is this fine?
Hey, /wsr/.
I'm having some trouble getting my ps3 controller to sync to my ps3. Everywhere I look online everyone says just to reset the controller, but it's not the controller's problem because I can get it to sync to my PS TV no problem. Right now the only way I can use my controller is by connecting it through usb.
Any ideas on what's wrong and how to fix it? Should I just take it somewhere to get it checked out?
Can you pair some other bluetooth device than your controller to your PS3?
>>41208
I don't have any other bluetooth device to try, unfortunately.
another bump
Okay /wsr/, it comes to this.
Lets get this out of the way upfront. I don't enjoy anime that much.
I think most of it is poorly acted, or just too out there and dumb and I cant stand many anime fans (Yes its a bias to a stereotype).
I also hate subtitles because if I'm reading I miss action, and if I watch the action, I miss the story.
Now, unfortunately for me, this makes me the odd person out in my circle. My best friends and girlfriend are very much into anime, and would like to share with me, but I can't invest my all.
I need something to watch that can help change my mind, or, just some things to check out that could be cool.
A list of anime I have watched to the end: DBZ, Full metal alchemist: Brotherhood, Attack on Titan, Gundam (G, 0080, 0083), Trigun
Anime I enjoyed but never finished for various reasons: Gundam build fighters/try, Soul eater, Jing, Samurai champloo, Gurran Lagan, Dragon Ball/Super, Gundam 0079, Psycho Pass, Yu Yu Hakusho, Slayers
Anime I disliked or couldnt bring myself to keep watching/start watching: Naruto (this one I have a negative bias about due to a specific person), Inuyasha, Pokemon, Digimon, Yu-gi-oh, Cowboy Bebop, Blood+, FLCL, Highschool of the dead
Anime I think would be good if I could bring myself to watch any of it: Berserk, Cowboy bebop, One punch man, Naruto (is this shit seriously like 700 episodes???)
Anyway, Im sure some got forgotten about here, but I need something either new or on my list that will help change my mind about anime and help me be able to be a part of my friends lives.

Watch Berserk and Space Dandy. The dub for that is good enough.
You really missing out on anime if you're dub only. You should really watch subbed anime. The best shows should be watched sub only. America hires 3rd rate voice actors for their anime adaptions. Your're really missing out.
Stay away from Naruto, that's shit and a waste of time.
I'm bored at work guys, I have downtime and I need a manga to read.
I was thinking of starting One Piece but holy shit 700 chapters. Any suggestions would be great. I mostly like mainstream anime (action and mecha)

Fairy Tail. Or force yourself to read One Piece, it's the best of the "big" ones.
>>41147
I watch One Punch Man, I'm waiting for season 2 so I wouldn't read that one. I also watch HxH so same with that one. I'll check out Grayman though
>>41152
That's what I've heard and I'd read it over Fairy Tale. I wasn't a huge fan of the Attack On Titan anime but that's also an option, I would start where the anime left off.
I'm trying to find the anime where a guy confesses while deprecating himself, and the girl compares it to a salesman offering her a product that he just described as defective. Anyone know that I'm talking about?

I got this book a couple years ago called Physics Demystified out of my own personal interest, and I've been stuck on these two questions in the first chapter since then. I've read the chapter over and over and still can't seem to understand the answers because the chapter doesn't really touch on what the questions are asking so I'm clueless.
The answers are in the back of the book, and even with the answers, I still don't get it.
The questions are,
>Suppose that you measure a quantity, call it q, and get 1.5 x 10^4 units. Within what range of whole-number values can you conclude that q actually lies?
Answer: 14,500 ≤ q < 15,500
>Suppose that you measure a quantity, call it q, and get 1.50 x 10^4 units. Within what range of whole-number values can you conclude that q actually lies?
Answer: 14,950 ≤ q < 15,050
They may seem simple to some of you, but I don't get it. Please help me understand why these are the answers.

Basically, no measurement of physical quantity can be entirely accurate. So when you measure a quantity and report a figure, you also imply an error in measurement from the number of meaningful digits.
The reason the estimated error is different(has less room for error that is) in the second example is because the equation has more significant digits(1,50 has three significant digits while 1,5 only has two). The first example has an implied uncertainty of 0,1 because you do not know any more decimals than the reported 1,5, while the uncertainty of 1,50 is 0,01.
>>41126
The text is a little misleading.
>Suppose that you measure a quantity, call it q, and get 1.5 x 10^4 units.
The use of "you" can be misunderstood, since it could mean that the result is exact, that the exact result is known by "you" but it was rounded, that the margin of error is known since "you" measured it and so on.
Assume that you used an instrument or an extern laboratory and it gave the result 1.5 x 10^4 units. You know nothing more than this, only this number, nothing more. Since you don't know the actual quantity, you must assume that q was rounded, that is, 1.5 could be an arbitrary number between 1.45 and 1.54999...
Just got done downloading 1.11TB of Manga, and I'm looking for recommendations of what to read. As long as its name doesn't start with a letter from H to N, I probably have it. In exchange, I'll post the magnet links.

Reverse image search is only pulling up a few results, all same size/quality. I'm hoping someone here who doesn't hate emergency services can help me out. I'd like a large resolution, high-quality version of this, preferably 1080p or larger, but I'm no good with any kind of graphic design. If anyone has any magic they can work on it, I'd appreciate it. Also, if you just redo it from scratch, I'd like the words to be all capitals, I feel like it would look a little better. Thanks in advance.

That is gorgeous, thank you so much.
Was wondering does anyone know what the best releases of Slayers are? the collab in Granblue made me finally get off my ass and watch it despite having played the Banpresto RPG forever ago. mostly wondering about the first TV series but info about the others TV series, OVAs, and/or the movies would be appreciated. normally I research on my own but I cant find much of anything regarding this for slayers.
[a-S] has the most popular release as far as the series goes and most of the movies/ovas untill the new bluray gets subbed (only the movies/OVAs are getting a bluray rerelease).
Lord Asharm has the first two movies subbed in 1080p, and USS has Slayers Premium subbed in 1080p.
>>40693
those 1080p releases are they native resolution or are they upscale? I'd rather avoid upscales if possible and try to get native resolution.
>>40697
The first two movies were made in 1995/6 meaning it should be cell animation. So I highly doubt they're just upscales. Slayers premium was released in 2001, so I'm not sure if it was produced digitally or if it was produced on a cell-and if it was done digitally I don't know what the production resolution was, you'd have to look further for yourself on that one.
