Cant really recommend a series to you because mine and your tastes are different. However, you can use mal (myanimelist) to find a series of a genre you like (romance, harem, action, ect)
If you want HD quilty anime you are going to have to use torrents. Or you could use the pleb-tier option which is streaming. Kissanime offers 720p/1080p streaming.

Hey /wsr/ I went to update my computer today and for some reason it froze at 28 of 30 and when I click stop installation the option just Gray's out any help would be appreciated also I'm using Windows 8.1 I don't know if that matters or not
I'm a little desperate for a way to fix this(or just stop the update) because a storm might be rolling in soon

I know it's a dumb idea, but I'm traveling for a couple of years to live in a small dorm and don't want to take my 8 year old PC with me or build a new one because I want it to be portable. Gaming laptops are heavy but still portable.
So I've chosen two laptops and would like your help in choosing which is better.
I think that a lesser graphics card would be just fine.

One is a gigabyte laptop and the other an ASUS ROG laptop. Both have the same price point $1200-1250
Everything is the same except that the gigabyte laptop has a newer CPU and more VRAM for the gtx970m graphics card but has no Vsync and has less USB ports (2 3.0 vs 4 3.0 + 3.1 on ROG). The ROG also has superior and much quieter cooling.
A gtx970m with only 3GB would be enough for most newer games without AA on ultra or high.
Only redeemable thing on the Gigabyte that the CPU is better than the ROG laptop, i7-4710HQ vs the i7-5700HQ in the gigabyte laptop and the graphics card has more memory, but less RAM (8gb vs 16gb.)
Even though you can replace RAM, you can't replace/add faster USB ports and built-in Vsync. Essentially, the issue is:
i7-5700 HQ + 8gb ram + 6gb gtx970m + 2 USB 3.0 + No Vsync ---vs--- 17-4710HQ + 16gb ram + 3gb gtx970m + 4 USB 3.0 + USB 3.1 + Vsync.
They have the same number of hardr-drive bays (e.g. m2 supported), same screen quality (FHD/IPS), same HDD (7200 rpm 1BT), and both come with Winows (8.1 vs 10.)
Tough choice desu

I don't know your situation but I'd build a mini or micro ATX computer if I were you.
As for those two laptops, I'd say take the ASUS one. I'm not sure you'll need 16gb of RAM but it's good to have for future games. Also, you could use a higher end i5 and still be good for gaming. The CPU doesn't really do much when you're gaming.
I'd suggest you check reviews on their drop resistance, fan speeds, temperatures and stuff like that, but I've heard good things about ASUS.

I'm inclined to agree with you.
I mean, as far as using the laptop to its maximum lifespan goes, I think the ROG will last me longer because it has more ram and has some better and more relevant technology, like USB 3.1, 16gb to comfortably support my carelessness regarding how many programs I have open, and a better cooler which ultimately helps the hardware last longer and prevent throttling. Vsync is nice too.
I guess I don't play that many games and I think 3gb would be juts fine for most games on high settings.
I originally wanted to get something with an i5 within my price-point of $1200-1250, and while most of them were cheaper, they had a gtx960 or gtx965 which is way worse than a gtx970 or were too expensive. I think the ASUS is a good deal, but desu I'd probably go with the gigabyte if it had more ram at that price. Especially since the ASUS laptops had a lot of reviews and customers who were discussion how they could fix this or that problem, while the review page for the gigabyte laptop were basically empty with one or two comments.
Thanks anon, I'm going with the ASUS. Hopefully I can order tomorrow and get it before the end of the week.

Its ok, I will probably go on a very long road bike ride today as well, I just need something to chill with and I am mad at myself for engaging in normalfag/nigger culture last night so I want to retreat from that and get back to who I really am. typically they're just the standard phillips screws that are used all over PCs to screw stuff to the case. I've seen them come with thumb screws and some sort of clip-on mechanism before. if it's the first time you remove that little metal piece covering the slot you might have to break it off.

the star shape is called Torx, but i would suggest ignoring it and just going for the large flat-head slot profile. you don't need to fill the whole screw head, you just need to touch both ends to apply rotational force. try the flat-heads you have around, then try whatever could fit (cluttlery, scissors, coins, keys, etc).
i don't see the whole picture, but... you do want to remove one of the pieces with the hexagonal holes in it, right? it seems such a strange set-up to me. why would the screws be on the fixed case part? are you sure this isn't some kind of screw-less set-up and you can get them out without unscrewing anything?

So Ii'm looking for a small server (ECC RAM is a must) for the bussiness I'm working for (5 ppl + boss). We need to host our local files on the network and two databases (MySQl and Firebird).
Do you have any suggestions in this field?
All i could find with good price to quality ratio was HP Gen8. Maybe you know some good 1U/2U server could buy used?

Nope, don't have rack, and i would like to aviod one. But if there are out there used good/quality servers, they are usuably on rack mounts. So if price/benefit would suggest it we could invest some bucks in small rack cabinet.

While I love rackables myself, they're not a good fit for what you seem to want. They're loud, power hungry, and annoying as hell to move around if they aren't on rapid rails.

ok so I'm trying game maker and I'd like to have a projectile intelligently shot where I'm GONNA be instead of where I currently am, right, but I'm busting a nut over the pure math of it, like I'm in calc and this is still hard as shit no matter how many equations I consider

X and Y: the location where player and projectile meet
Xo and Yo: the initial point of the player
X'o and Y'o: the initial point of the projectile
s and s': the speed of the player and projectile respectively (the projectile will be much faster typically)
θ and θ': angle of the player and projectile (for GM's sake, relative to the x-axis)
t: seconds
I've tried looking at it as a triangle even, but these starting equations are important
X = Xo + ts(cosθ) = X'o + ts'(cosθ')
Y = Yo + ts(sinθ) = Y'o + ts'(sinθ')

Amazon has $10-$15 single-burner electric stoves, and about $30 double-burner ones. Sets of pans and saucepan for about $20. So let's say you spend $50 for it all.
Then you'll be able to make rice, porridge, sausages, eggs and whatnot.
