Try Overlord and Log Horizon. They also have video game/isekai settings but I'd rate them higher than either SAO or NGNL. They're both more serious stories with action. Overlord has a villain protagonist and Log Horizon has a large ensemble cast and goes into intrigue and society-building. Overlord is fun but the anime only scratches the surface of it with 12 eps.

Baccano. Short one season show based on LNs by the same author as DRRR, but set in early 20th century America with immortals. Got a good mix of action, mystery, and fun times.

Cowboy Bebop. Really surprising you haven't watched it yet. You've undoubtedly heard enough about it that explaining it further isn't necessary.

pi=circumference/diameter (that's the whole point of pi)
so if you need circumference
circumference=diameter*pi
in the late game you will use pi just as constant in formulas, without thinking what it is

Wolf Children is garbage and not something I'd consider "essential". You'd be better off putting Little witch academia, or the Girls und Panzer film.

For casual action I really like Cross Ange, but it's never something I'd recommend to people who know nothing about anime, I'd probably replace it with Kyousou Giga or Yozakura Quartet: Hana no Uta.

Also Noragami isn't what I'd consider "serious Action" in the slightest. Although I'm not really sure what you'd replace it with, maybe something like Birdy Decode, even though it's not too terribly serious it's more so than Noragami.

For sports since you already have two basketball shows I'd probably replace Kuroko no Basket with a wild card like Tsuritama.

For Sci-fi I'd find a way to get Towards the Terra and maybe Noein, Honestly I'd probably kick out Ergo Proxy and Lain for those two shows.

Also for mecha I think getting "normies" to watch gundam or macross is an uphill battle, I'd probably replace it with something more accessible like Giant robo/Nadesico

Also for drama I'd kick the fuck out of Death Parade and include house of five leaves, it's so much better it's not even funny.

Great chart so far, but definitely needs some adjustments.
Saw this post yesterday and think it's very relevant. FLCL is definitely one of those must-watch ones that should be included somewhere.

I agree with previous post that you should take out a second basketball anime. Actually, I think your list is too lenghty. Certain genres should be limited
I also think shoujou genre needs to be done a little better instead of just limiting it to romance

Needs to list how many episode each anime has and throwing dark fantasy shows like berserk, claymore and hellsing under "horror" is wrong

You'd make it a lot easier if you did the shot in front of a light-colored background. You could just hang a sheet or large sheet of paper behind you, making sure all your hair was included.

If you want that background (or any other background) you could just upload a separate shot of that by itself.
