Giant robo is fucken great, good taste OP
I really miss that era of anime. The art style and Tolkien-like fantasy genre will never return. Now all we have is CG anime based in CG worlds with a thousand variations of "person woke up in X computer game and is over powered".
sometimes I wonder wether we should let these threads just die.
I don't watch enough to keep adding more OPs and there's eff all discussion so it all seems a bit pointless
Is it just me or does Clannad get less hate than it used to?
Heh posting those two made me remember I never got round to watching this. Kept getting told conflicting advice on /a/ on which version I should watch first:
The original 'Am I kawai? Uguu' Toei version or the Kyoani version with an allegedly butchered story
Too much moeblob trash is the main problem.
What exactly is the point in talking about things you don't understand? How does Ruri, a character from the show you just posted, not count as a """moeblob""" if everything else that's cute allegedly counts? Where do you draw the line? Things you know about and things you don't?
Anything by Union Square Garden is fucking great
Ah that experience of watching your first Gundam.
That innocence not knowing that they kill off 90% of the cast in the last 2 episodes everytime.
yeah fuck that shit
It really sucks that good shows like this one doesnt even recieve any amount of relevance both in Japland and western fanbases
this probably should be posted in every single one of these threads
>You're talking about 9mb -> 4mb?
How come everyone's webms look nice yet mine look like ass? what are they doing? I'm using an online webm converter 128 kbps bitrate and audio quality.
Where you can set more settings there you can achieve better quality
For example, ffmpeg supports most of the settings that the codec provides. For vp8 (that is used by 4chan) that is qmin, qmax, qcomp, crf, auto-alt-ref, lag-in-frames and others.
Bitrate in this case is needed to limit the size of the output file, but it also affects the quality. If you want the best quality you need something to download, because i think online converters not what you need for this purpose
Lodoss War validated its existence just from its openings. Which is good in my case because I didn't care for the TV show much. Still need to watch the OVA.
I've been trying to get the Slayers Next OP into these threads but even hand-tweaking the settings I get pretty rough encodes. If anyone has a good webm and could share their settings I'd appreciate it. Maybe I'm crazy but it seems like way more complex stuff is fitting into 4mb than this.
tfw i can't find any active torrents of this show anymore.
i liked lupin the 4th.
I'm not doing these justice.
Sorry for the quality on this one, another super-old file but the youtube versions had the audio fucked up.
I've noticed Japs (and other Asians) seem to really like well choreographed dancing. Like the more people there are all doing the same moves the better. I don't know why exactly. I mean, they can do some impressive stuff but it's not my favorite thing.
I prefer the Nip version.
In the Precure endings they all doing the same moves because the intention is for kids to dance along with it, so obviously the dance has to be designed for an individual, you can't exactly have six characters all doing different things.
It's why the dances are relatively simple too, and also the reason they're 3DCG - not just because animating a dancing character by hand is difficult (which it is), but because the greater fidelity afforded by CGI animation allows for more nuanced movement and a superior conveyance of those movements on screen.
They're cooking, get startled by a spiky thing, fall down a bunch of leaves, and meet a helpful bunny girl.
Well, if you squint and look at it funny that's kinda what happens next episode or two...
Of course they left out the horrible injuries, deadly poisoning, and botched amputation attempt.
Man, I really need to get around to watching this. I've heard it spoken in the same tones as Moribito and Erin, just isn't particularly memorable in title and don't see it talked about much.
That's because the woman who created the manga and was heavily involved in the show died unexpectedly. What parts of the story the show does cover is phenomenal with easily some of the best animation and art direction for a TV of that era.
