How often do you guys change your homescreen? I've had my current one since the end of April, and the one before that I made in May of last year. I do some refining over time, but I can't come up with any ideas for a whole new homescreen

if thats a windows phone i commend you cause thats prolly the best it can get but otherwise seriously drop it it looks dumb, all those squares but the circles at the bottom just makes the whole shebang look shitty, the lack or color and way too strong contrast is obtrusive and edgy the purple doesnt alleviate this very mech besides the edgy factor.

mine requires an explanation and a webm but instead fuck you. when music is playing it looks just like the date but has the buttons top right when i have notifications it has a count and an x top right and tapping the title of the notification scrolls through my notifications. the x dismisses currently visible notification.

I see what you are going for here, but the icons and the rest of the aesthetic do not blend. Try using klwp and times new roman or some shit for text based icons. Keep the color scheme simple, like two or three and stick to those for the pape and the clock

Too many icons. Destroys the simplicity of the wallpaper and clock. If you use nova launcher, theres an option to turn on a swipe gesture for folders. If enabled the folder only shows the first app in it.

What code would I use to make text be stroke instead of fill? I ask because the : for the clock in the upper left blinks out of existence every odd second but that causes the minutes to shift slightly left.

I've also used a stack group for notifications, I want the left side lined up with the clock box, however the stack group seems to grow left and right when it's dealing with more text than its default width, how do I make it just grow to the right so as to keep it in line?

Way too many icons, the icon pack isn't that great although it does fit your theme, and that weather widget is really shit, I'd recommend using app drawer tabs in nova launcher instead of having tons of icons on the homescreen and creating your own weather widget in kwgt/klwp/zooper. Also if possible see if there a are other icon packs that fit your current aesthetic because I like the direction that's going in

Icons give me a very 2007 vibe which I personally am not a fan of. Folders are generally kinda ugly, perhaps you can have just Music there? Search bar is kinda hueg and ugly too, I think you can make it app drawer-only if you rely on it, so you only see it when you swipe up. Nova Launcher I know lets you hide the status bar, I haven't used other launchers though.

Sorry I was unclear. What I'm thinking is something like this, a circuit board wallpaper with each node as an app. But right now it seems I can't free-form arrange my icons. Just place them in a grid, which makes getting the right positioning a challenge.

Ahhh. Alright. I need to figure out a bunch of stuff. What I really need is to come up with how I want it all to look overall. Right now I'm tinkering with only a vague goal in mind.

I'm having trouble getting rid of the app name (label) even though I've got it disabled in nova. Anyone got any wisdom as to why that might be?

Actually I think what I'll do is see if I can find a nice looking folder setup, like where I can push a button and they all pop up in a radial menu or something, and just lay out one or two of those buttons on the nodes, so I can access my apps like that. Set up a battery bar, and voila.

I'll try 'em. I wanted a radial app folder/drawer but that doesn't seem to be in the cards. I'll experiment a bit. Zwart icons seem like they might be ok. Min ones in blue nodes might be alright as well.

Use KLWP, make an overlap group, put the icons in it where you want them to be when they're visible, then animate the overlap group to scale out based on a global switch. Optionally, you can have it fade in, depending on your tastes. Make the icons both launch their respective app, and toggle the switch so that the menu closes. Adding an extra rotate animation can look good when it's opening. I'd also recommend a duration of around 5

Alright we have liftoff. There's a clock and battery visible on there, and here's my app wheel.

I'm thinking I might pick another blue node and have it (in a similar manner) pop out a weather widget, etc. I dunno we'll see what else I'd like it to do. I think I've figured out KLWP enough to make it happen. Maybe. But here's what I've got for now.

What ROM do you guys use?

Is there a way to make apps trigger things in KLWP? So for example, in pic related, I've put a couple rings around my facebook chat head. Is it possible to make it so that the UI only places those rings when the chathead pops up? Or is it not that sophisticated?

Also possibly unrelated but I'm getting an absolute shitton of pop up ads. Could that be KLWP or Nova?
