So my boot loader failed recently and I've lost a particular favorite wallpaper of mine. It's similar to pic related but with a rougher brush stroke style (sort of a dry brushed acryllic for the trunks with more foliage detail) and with darker trees.

Also nature papes because there isnt a thread for it.

Wallpapers from the era of Windows 2000 and before? Set up a Virtual Machine to play Baldur's Gate and other cRPGs of that time. I want it to have an authentic feel.

Desktop res is 720p on said machine, but that doesn't matter so much. I want authenticity.

I always liked this one in Windows XP.

Another idea might be to find a vaporwave album art and tile it. When I think of wallpapers of the late 90s to early 2000s, I remember a lot of tiling of shit that wasn't sized properly for a full desktop.
