I should really pick one of those up, just for its history.

Gizmondo is Windows CE, NGage is Symbian and if you want the trifecta with a Palm device it's pic related - Tapwave Zodiac.

Mobile devices have seen enormous progress in the last decade so all of the above are shit devices by reasonable standards. Screens are shit. Batteries are shit. Resistive touch screens are shit. Just emulate all three platforms on your Android game device.

The libraries are all worth looking at, though. They have a certain flavor that isn't /vr/ related but definitely deserves preservation.

Disregarding the sarcasm of that review. That actually seemed like an interesting mechanic.

Let me mention yet again that Gizmondo is Windows CE and there are a LOT of games out there on CE. This is why you can play Monkey Island on your Chinese DVD/GPS car stereo.

I recently bought a new one... Sadly, the rubber just melted with time and was so sticky I could not play the device. Also I needed a SIM card.
