Without glitches, is there any other way to finish OoT besides

Sequence breaking is a glitch by definition since they (probably) didn't intend it.

I do water before fire

You could always get the bow and not finish the Forest temple. Then come back to it later.

i always did fire, and attempted water, before forest because i was scared of the wallmasters

I think fire/forest/water are interchangeable aren't they?

I've swapped order of spirit/shadow. on the 3D version I did spirit after forest, but I half cleared a lot of dungeons and did it just for the novelty of the medallions screen only having forest and spirit.. This was during a 6 hour layover.

You don't need the bow at all to do the Fire temple, my brother usually does the Fire temple before the Forest temple.
