It was an expensive cartridge to manufacture, which means it was always going to be difficult to make a lot of copies of.

Came out late in the NES life. Didn't have that Nintendo notoriety.

Dawn of Fate, no retro though.

Terminator for Sega CD is fantastic, pretty good for MD also. T2 Arcade is a lot of fun, looks great, but can be pretty hard. I also have a soft spot for T2 on the GB, it's not all that good but it has some interesting parts like reprogramming The Terminator pipemania style.

I own Legacy of the Wizard and occasionally I'll pop it in just to futz around, but I'll be damned if I know what I'm actually doing. One of these days I'm gonna print up a gamefaqs walkthrough and play this game with serious intention to actually progress.

You're missing the konami gx bios (konamigx.zip)
Oshaberi never had an arcade port, playstation is probably the best version.

Don't use mame though, it has terrible, unbearable input lag.

Though mostly it's Atgames themselves doing all that shit, with Sega only being involved by just giving them a license. Nintendo, having more involvement with their product, I feel is a lot more reaching the bottom of the barrel in a vain attempt to recapture whatever audience they lost. Did they forget about their own Virtual Console service?

Is there even a way to play the game without making your own map? At least for the first game because the ingame map is horrible.

Why the hell aren't these alphabetized? My first thought was "Where the heck are Beyond Oasis and Alien Soldier?" Middle of the list, of course. Gotta make sure those hits like the version of Sonic 3D Blast that doesn't have a god-tier OST and Altered Beast get top billing!

and every version was bad as I remember, my friend had it on genesis and we used to play quite a bit. when mk dropped, we forgot about it.

The only version I've played is the SNES version and it is awful.

Man, that game ate my quarters, but renting it for SNES made me a sad kid...

they both have merits but I prefer the genny version

SNES because it was made by actual video game developers.
