Will it ever be released?
>>3398592
It doesn't really look that amazing tbhfam.
>>3398592
why would you even want to play that piece of shit?
>>3398592
No, and nobody gives a shit.
>Bulk Slash increased in price by $30 in the last year
What the hell?
It's because /vr/ keeps telling people how good it is
>>3398569
This.
I've seen a few guys (or maybe it was just one) sucking this game's dick a lot all throughout the past year.
He made me burn a CD-R. Bulk Slash has a lovely cast of girls, but I couldn't get into the game. Reminded me of Sonic CD's special stages.
>>3398569
I mean it is a good game.
What does /vr/ think of the Shantae? I'm playing the original for the first time and I'm enjoying it so far. The controls are satisfying and the game has a very zesty atmosphere.
How do the subsequent installments to the series compare to the first game?
It's an average game with beautiful spritework that is most noted for its rarity.
good game that's constantly getting shit by impatient minmaxers
>How do the subsequent installments to the series compare to the first game?
The original is retro, the rest isn't.
What games do you think are the best suited to introduce new players to retro gaming?
Retro Game Challenge on DS
Wizardry 4 on the Apple II.
A well made classic always hits.
Something like Castlevania,Warioland or the oracles games of LoZ should do the trick.
If they can't dig It,I guess they can't.
Can anyone point me in the right direction of where I can find an SNES emulator to use on a PS2 Slim, possibly with a good, detailed tutorial. Keep in mind that I don't wish to buy any other mod tools or additional DVD magic tools, etc. Is it possible to just load something onto a USB and start playing SNES roms? Any help is appreciate fellas.
>>3397117
Try google.com.
The SNES emulator for the PS2 is shit. SHIIIIIIT. No, I am not kidding. It skips a ton of frames and anything with special chips (Donkey Kong Country, Star Fox) will make your eyes bleed.
>>3397117
just use a snes emulator on literally any other device
Sorry of this is a bad place to ask this, but does anyone know what Donald No Magical World (japanese version of Ronald Mcdonald in Magical World on GameGear) cart only goes for? I paid 10 for it
it goes for what you paid for it
If only there was a website that people could look at to see how much similar items were selling for. Such a thing must only be possible in a magical world.

>the very first listing result uses an identical picture to OP
How does this console still have a following in 2016? It had very little of actual quality on it. Arguably even 3DO or 32X had more good games.
>He forgot T2K existed
>>3395808
You mean the inferior Jaguar port of the PC game?
Jaguar games are mostly shit but they have a distinct "Atari" quality to them that particularly appeals to some people.
That having been said, I strongly prefer the 3DO. You have to dig a little harder to find good exclusives on it but it's only because they're somewhat lost among all the good 3DO games that were multi-platform.
To me, that's much better than how the good Jaguar games really rise to the top of the crap but I think hipsters might prefer to know a whole bunch of deservedly obscure, terrible games.
Which platform has the best retro console emulators?
Obviously PC. How is this a question?
nigga what do you think
They use the same base most of the time. I mean both have RetroArch.
What the fuck are you even on about?
Sup /vr/ I'm looking to try out JRPGs from the 1980s to around the early 2000s. I've already played through Xenogears, Chrono Trigger, FFVIII and a few others, but I really want to try out a lot more. I don't care how famous the games are so long as they're good.
Legend of Dragoon, Brave Fencer Musashi, Legend of Legaia, not total Retro but Shadow Hearts too (get a PS2), Chrono Cross, etc
>>3395518
Play:
Panzer Dragoon Saga
Lunar 1 & 2
Mother trilogy
Grandia (1st one)
Skies of Arcadia
FF VI
Phantasy Star IV
Paper Mario 1 & 2
Tales of Phantasia (ps1)
Tales of Symphonia (gc)
Lufia 2
Avoid:
Persona series
All FF's after VII (except 12)
Suikoden series
Legend of Dragoon
Golden Sun series
Dragon Quest DS ports
-Lagrange Point (Famicom)
-Mouryou Senki Madara (Famicom)
-King Colossus (Mega Drive)
-Emerald Dragon (Super Famicom)
If you know japanese or simply don't care:
Tengai Makyo/Far East of Eden series. Imo, Manjimaru is the best one.

Finally, a Super NES controller which will let me play Guitar Hero!
>>3394921
I want it.
***SUPER NINTENDO SNES TURBO CONTROLLER BLOCKBUSTER***
What was the point of these?
>>3394247
A get-out-of-jail-free card for anyone not doing 100% runs.
Ever seen the original Alien (1979)?
>>3394367
Wasn't that concept art? I don't remember that being in the movie
What do you think about this game /vr/?
http://www.strawpoll.me/10863634
>>3392532
I gave it a 10/10.
don't even need to think about it.
I know it very well too. so glad this game was part of my childhood.
>>3392631
I gave it a 10 too rofl
if oot doesn't deserve a 10 I dont know what does, especally back in '98
>>3392532
Rated it a 5/10.
Graphics are incredibly dated but more importantly, the camera (including first person view) is horrible, the framerate hurts my eyes and the controls could've been better. Furthermore the unskippable cutscenes are painful to sit through, they drag on for too long and just not interesting enough to justify it.
I've been replaying all the sonic games for mania on wii using retroarch and I noticed frame rate drops. Has sonic always been this choppy before or is it because I'm using a micro sd card? Especially pic related.
Game runs smooth, your setup is shit
>>3392379
What's the problem then is the wii not strong enough to run it at full speed?
I can't say if your setup makes the games choppier than original hardware or not, but Sonic CD does have a bit of slowdown as I recall playing on my Sega CD. I think Sonic CD goes for like 5 bucks on Steam if you want to play it at a consistent 60 fps.
What is the best /vr game compilation and why is it the 6-pak?
>>3390750
I got this for my 7th birthday and loved it.
I lost the cartridge though and I have no idea how.
>>3390750
Because oddly enough it's cheaper than Streets of Rage or Golden Axe, even though it contains both.
>>3390783
Seen them around for $5-$10 loose around me. Pretty reasonable really. You should pick it back up!
Where is he now?
>>3390262
He changed his name to "Anita Sarkeesian" and was doing quite well for a while.
>>3390262
Got a sex change and changed his name to anita sarkeesian.
>>3390262
He finally picked up Postal and Doom, decided they were fun, and started to keep to himself. That's what I want to believe anyways.
