What happened to the first 63 Wave Race games?
The first one was on game boy, not sure about the other 62.XD
Wave race 64 is so fucking good.
Can you believe it's only running at 20FPS? I thought it was 30 at least but wow.
The wave physics are so fucking good.
They're in The Void, along with Super Marios 5 through 63. Why don't you go in there and take a look OP
Why did they call it the Genesis in USA if it was Sega's second real console?
Because the name Mega Drive was already taken.
Also it was their third console after the Mark 3 and the SG-1000.
Why did they call it the SG-1000 if it wasn't their 1000th console?
>>3428896
Mark 3/SMS is just the third revision of the SG-1000, though, hence the "real".
Which home release of Double Dragon is worth playing more: the Nintendo game or the Master game?
>>3428807
Had both. But sms is the closer to the arcade.
Gameboy version
Sms if you want some coop action
Nes if your by your self and want more enjoyable experience... or if you have a friend that wants to play a pre sf2 fighting game
When I think of "90s PC Games" I mainly think of edutainment. Carmen Sandiego, Word Munchers Deluxe, The Magic School Bus... The 90s was a gold mine for educational children's media.
What are some of your favorites? Pic related is mine, Carmen Sandigo. It needs a good revival.
>>3428806
Hot
>>3428806
What did you actually do in the Carmen Sandiego games? Were they mysteries?
>>3428835
They were straight shota eroge games were your character gets repeteadly molested by a nymphomaniac latin milf called Carmen in a sex world tour.
Do you think a retro console with all the library avaliable for online purchases, online gaming and achievement/trophies for the games would sell enough enough in this day and age? Instead of whatever bullshit nintendo is trying to do with that new portable nes of them
>>3428787
We a
Ready have the vc and the new retro bit generations.
The new mini nes is going go outsell the other consolevon a chip systems.
Hnestly wanted that sega master system 132 in one and the sega master drive 4 from tect toy.

Is that what you mean?
Lot of systems it plays.
>>3428787
Are you talking about an emulator box?
ITT: retro games that were all style over substance.
>>3428725
Great game. Only with sega and greak freak and nintendo we will see this on vc.
>Style over substance is a logical fallacy that occurs when someone bases their argument on compelling language, obfuscation, and various terms of art, instead of legitimate logical analyses.
In what way would you use this argument to back your claim about Pulseman being that?
People don't even talk about it that much, it's a nice game with somewhat Megaman-esque gameplay.

Good luck. Super GT at home died with the Dreamcast. All those unported arcade games... Sad.

Didn't the Amstrad CPC have the best keyboard of all affordable home computers in Europe?
Didn't the Amstrad CPC have ports of all the best spectrum games without eye-raping colors?
Didn't the Amstrad CPC have a functional power supply unlike the C64 one which caused a failure rate that wouldn't be surpassed until the Xbox360?
Didn't the Amstrad CPC offer an all-in-one complete package for newcomers to computing without the daunting price of the Macintosh?
Didn't the Amstrad CPC host the most patrician game of the 8bit home computer era (La Abadia del Crimen)?

Was it the first "walking simulator"?
>>3427915
It had a lot of different mechanics, a walking simulator is just walking around and digesting information.
By that logic Myst was the first walking simulator.
>>3427931
You didn't walk in Myst though, you teleported between different screens.
>walked
No one did this. Everyone ran.

I had a road trip this weekend and has adv excuse to bring A backpack ful of fans with me. I was mostly playing Columns fur Game Gear and Advance Wars.
Can you beat SFA2's survival mode?
The input read gets pretty ridiculous starting from Adon.
>>3427825
Who would want to bother working at beating a game that has to blatantly cheat against you? When the real game is amazing already.
>>3428427
>Who would want to bother working at beating a game that has to blatantly cheat against you?
That's the challenge. It's what makes you crave that victory even more.
>>3427825
If you think the read inputs are ridiculous there, try playing Virtua Fighter 2.
Jeffry will power bomb you if you ever end up in a single crouching frame, either on purpose or by accident (he can do the power bomb on you after a blocked beat knuckle by Jacky).
What is it that playing on the physical console have that makes emulating games feel so lifeless? Oddly enough I can enjoy compilations of Megaman and Sonic on my PS2 but not the same way on emulators.
>>3427731
>Oddly enough I can enjoy compilations of Megaman and Sonic on my PS2 but not the same way on emulators
Those are emulated, dude.
>>3427742
And they're usually worse than on a PC-based emulator (glitches, blurry image, bad upscaling, etc).
>>3427731
For me it's 90% the video signal. I can't play with anything better than RF or composite, RGB makes the game look like it's running on an emulator.
Well, have you beaten it?
I beat the old testament version.
I dropped the Kyuuyaku version, too repetitive to me.
>>3427846
this
nearly done with 2 as well
What does /vr/ think of Wizards and Warriors (NES)?
I just bought this at my local flea market. I think this game is a very funny game.
One of the trees has an empty text box though. It's very confusing. It's like it's saying "I suck dick" or something.
>>3427639
Played it, it's very fun to play and... that's it. There just isn't much to talk about, I guess. I could be wrong though as I never got deep into it.
>>3427639
Did you just pick this up at a flea market?
