What happened to that zine project you guys were working on? I saw a thread about it a while back.
>>3435068
People left because of all the bs.
Even I was just passing by to see whats up.
Board is dead,bury it.
Same thing that always happens. People got too ambitious and trying to do a community collaboration on an anonymous pachinko smuggling board is a bad idea because no one is accountable.
>>3435249
What bs?
It's just funny that when i found the thread I was in the mood to publish something.
If people are still making content or have articles they want to share I'd like to make a mock up.
I've never played a visual novel and I want to give Yu-No a try. Where do i start? I can't seem to find any links that has the full game or translation patches. The links I have found apparently are filled with viruses.
>>3434916
why is it called "you know"?
The translation false positives on a lot of virus scanners, so you're probably going to need to turn it off or get a new virus scanner.
But maybe you really are downloading it from some super sketchy source so I'll let someone link you to a verified one
>>3434916
good game, played that back in the day
I am sorry to bother everyone. I was looking through the emulation wiki under Gameboy, and I'm not sure which emulator would be best for Windows 10.
KEGA
>>3434824
I thought KEGA was a Sega emulator.
>>3434830
It is lmao
tricked XD :^)
Anyway I use VBA and it works fine
>tfw you suck really bad at retro games
>tfw you have anger issues and can get furious with the flip of a switch
>tfw you really want to play retro 8/16-bit games
What do I do?
Start with something easier, like Final Fantasy or LoZ: LttP.
And learn to control your anger.
Realize how fruitless your anger is.
Clear your mind and calm down.
Analyze the situation. What made you angry? Now what actually made you angry? How do you solve this?
>>3434685
Play kids games.
You seem like a manchild anyway.
SNES games are mostly easy.
Why is this port so bad? It's way worse than the N64 version.
Oh wow, god this was such a terrible game. When I bought it, I thought I would just need an Analogue controller to fix the controls. It still controlled like ass. Also, the loading times were INSANE.
The music was really good though, especially the title screen music, it was so well done. The game just graphically fell apart and there is no excuse with games like Rage Racer and Ridge racer Type4 being so amazing. Namco always knew how to bring out the best of the PS1 while Midway really struggled with shitty ports.
I only played the N64 version.
I hate how melted rubber streaks appear on the road everytime you make the slightest turn.
Real cars don't do that.
Does the PS1 version fix this bug?
>>3434368
Cause most 3d games aged bad on ps1. Lets not also forget crappy load times for games on ps1.
In this hobby you usually find yourself with a bunch of consoles you have to store and swap out often.
Has anyone found a reliable tv stand/display case to display and make it easier to play?
I am thinking about just taking the drawers out of a dresser.
First world problems.
Storing or taking out consoles and connecting the cables isn't something terrible, in fact I'd say it's part of the charm.
I just use one or two consoles at a time.
>>3434217
Thats actually a good idea anon, if you can find one with a board in between the drawers. Usually theyre hollow.
>>3434217
>>3434217
>Having those attached to an lcd
How good are you at Puzzle Games?
WORDTRIS
>>3434207
I think I play Tetris 3+ hours a day
Decent at most, with Puyo Puyo being my best.
What are some essential VR party/multiplayer games? Looking for anything up to the PS1 and especially anything that emulates well.
>>3434202
I fucking hate crash bandicoot but CTR is best kart racer. Emulate that bad boy in 1440p or whatever the fuck and have yourself a time. Chu Chu Rocket is dope until someone realizes the randomization in that game is kind of bullshit. Every mario party game is cancer, avoid that degenerate trash. Power Stone 2 is all right.
Worms Armageddon
>>3434312
I never thought I'd find someone who agrees with me that Mario Party is overrated trash
What was the best retro handheld Castlevania game?
>>3434190Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance
>>3434269
May be bait but seriously, most of the CV games didn't actually get good on handheld until the GBA trio.
Kid Dracula was a damn good attempt though.
>>3434190
I was not aware of Legends or Kids Dracula.
Belmont's Revenge is pretty rad though, I really like that one
Hi.
a question.
What are those track that appear when I download some PS1 games?
It is that every time I download some games of playstation 1 for my emulator, I aaprecen a Tracks in the RAR file.
I want to know what are these track?
Track are very important
Do not delete track
Do not move track
do not post or talk about track
they will know
is very important
>>3434165
another question.
when I want to play the game in the emulator.
Which of all Track I open or should I select and open all?
What is the best Twisted Metal game?
Apparently, there is an argument between either II or IV but most people seem inclined to IV.
2 and black.
2 was fun as hell and had a cool comic book art style with a dark sense of humor.
I thought 3 and 4 were both pretty weak.
People will typically say 2 or Black but it takes just a few more brain cells to realize Head-On is a very good game, good enough to sit among that rank.
What went wrong?
3D on playstation.
The 2D ones are actually good like the SFC games.
>>3434064
>3D on playstation.
But PSX can do 3D even better than the N64, yet N64 got a good 3D Goemon. Why couldn't PSX?
>>3434235
>But PSX can do 3D even better than the N64
It can do good (or decent) 3D, but not better than N64, no.
The problem with this game was that it's more isometric than 3D really, the camera has a weird angle at all times, instead of being placed behind the character.
Also, it seems the game was developed by Konami from Nagoya, instead of Osaka, who made the N64 games.
Are there any NES/SNES games with a fair amount of dungeon crawling and exploration?

We haven't even mentioned Gaunlet II yet...
The Louisiana floods have me concerned, having me think about how easily my whole collection could be destroyed. Do you have any sort of disaster plan for your game collection? Do you have any sort of escape route for them if you're struck with a flood? A fire?
There is a service that covers this sort of thing. It's called insurance.
>>3433948
>a service that will never pay you what you claim and even when they do it takes a long time and it will only be a small percentage and you better still have all your receipts for the shit you claim
>your insurance money will go to fixing your house, not a fucking dime will go towards replacing your games
babby never own a house?
>>3433948
Yep, because it's super easy to replace a copy of Stadium Events. Heck they're making new ones daily.
Remember when games had terrible live action intros? I feel like it was mostly PC games, especially Command and Conquer but I also remember watching the intro the Mechwarrior IV.
>>3433846
They were great. The CnC ones were especially great, with Kane and Stalin. They felt like cheesy B-movies, never took themselves too seriously. I remember a great one with Tim Curry, can't remember the name of it though.
Also Malcolm McDowell in Wing Commander 4. Shit was awesome.
>>3433846
>terrible
you meant awesome
i miss when games were allowed to be cheese and we could have fun with the campy stuff instead of jumping to metacritic to rate it 1/10 never play again.
>>3434149
That or the tryhard cheesy games that keep asking you "Get it? Do you get it?"
