Why not?
We had one, and it must have JUST died because it was up as of yesterday, anyway.
Good score on the Gameboy Light, always wanted one.

It's pretty neat, but it makes me kind of salty that its screen is larger than my GBC's.
Alright, who here likes Penguin Monogatari so much that they feel the need to use this image in every post. Which one of you is it.
>>3468978
its not me
they fucking suck. they never contribute anything of value
Probably Faggot Sevenleaf posting without its tripcode.
Recommend me some really bad ps1 games.
>>3468925
Shit, but also fun to play.
The Crow, one of the worst games I ever played
ITT: Games only you have played / isn't discussed a lot
What gaem is that bro?
One game only I played is a WW2 flight sim called Pacific Strike, which I always post on these threads and to this I am still the only one to know of its existence.
>>3468485
Test Drive 4.
SRAM /SRAM 2
Never played this game, is it any good?
>>3468370
The GB/C Zelda's are the only Zelda's worth playing
Go ahead, op.
>>3468370
Yes, it's a legitimate contender for the title of "best game ever made".
Just beat 2 for the first time, it has taken me a long time to beat this game in a single sitting since I gave up a lot when I started playing it, but damn what a satisfying game.
Anyway Classic Mega Man thread, X and Legends discussion is also allowed.
Honestly, I've only beaten 2 and I own X4, but I suck ass at it. I own Mega Man 64 as well, almost done with it but put it on the side for a while now. I've played the original X on emulator and I own a couple none /vr/ Mega Man games like9 and the Zero collection on DSbut again those aren't /vr/.
I usually hear that 2 & 3 are the most highly regarded of the classic series, how about the othwr entries?
What about ROM hacks?
Are there any "Mega Man-likes" that rival the quality of the series on other retro systems?
Little Sampson
Mighty No. Scam
Cave Story
Mega Man Unlimited
Sorry for the shit list. It's really all there it is when it comes to Mega-likes.
>>3468282
>Mighty No. Scam
>Cave Story
Yeah I tried ny best to imply that I didn't want any modern Mega Man-like recommendations but if you really wanted to go theirShovel Knight is probably the best example of a Mega Man like game, but that's mire similar to Zelda 2 in gameplay than Mega Man, but it does have a similar level progression like Mega Man
>>3468254
2 and 3 may be the highest regarded, but I think the entire classic series is great. However, 2 is the easiest, so if you had trouble with that, idk how you're gonna feel with the rest. Go try to beat 1 or 4 and prepare for an anal raping.
is drifting usually worth it in this game (that is, with the R button)? seems that when i try, it just makes things worse
>>3467937
I always found it useful
especially for the speed boost
It would be if it actually had good controls
Idk senpai
I like the original better
Was it perfect?
perfect is a big word, but it's pretty much on the top list
>>3469094
I'd say "at the top of the list" but that's probably what you meant. Otherwise yeah I came in to say basically this. Hugely flawed in obvious ways through hindsight but never the less the ultimate example of this special niche genre.
>>3467851
everything the first game did right was done better the second game. it's one of the best games of all time.
>he doesn't replace his shitty stock Microsoft GS synth with the superior Yamaha S-YXG50
Do you guys enjoy shitty MIDIs or what?
http://veg.by/en/projects/syxg50/
>shitty MIDIs
extremely fun to say
The Sound Canvas VA also works really well if you use SAVIHost and loopMidi. Generally you need to research which games/files sound best using which VST/module emulator.
>>3467773
I use VirtualMIDISynth so I can swap softsynths on the fly. Works great with DOSBox.
Do yyyou feel the fear swell inside that filth-filthy baaag of meat?
What is it like to be afraid? Why do you c-c-c-cling to such a pathetic exisstence.
What are your opinions on this game, insects?
>>3467703
Stop stuttering faggot
>>3467727
How dare you insult my magnificence, insect?
SS1 > SS2
How is it possible that this nearly 20 year old trumps out every other game ever created?
Mods.

Because of Ivan Dolvich
As far as this board is concerned there haven't any games been produced since then.
I'm looking for a discussion about the forgotten subgenre of city-based flight-combat games, like G-police and Hardwar.
They have an unique feeling and I recently got an urge to play through a few, but I've mostly played G-police and dabbled a bit in Hardwar, so, what's your favorites? Which are the most shit? Any remakes in the making?
I must play Wing War on an R360 before I die. Based Sega.
I also liked Thunder Blade but mainly for its premium cab.
>>3467656
I remember playing one of these when I was about 8. Pretty cool concept that I wish had a modern revival. Multiplayer would be neat.
>>3467662
Give this guy a call.

Sega CD or PS1?
Sega, but you can play the PS1 version afterwards to see the changes they made.
The real question is Sega Saturn or PS1?
Why do you retards have to call the Mega CD that?
Games which taught you valuable, life-changing lessons about video games, be it lessons about games in general or about the video game industry.
Pic related taught me that not everything Squaresoft makes is good.
>life-changing lessons about video games
The only life-changing lesson I learned about video games is that if I could, I would wish to never like them in the first place.
>>3467601
What didn't you like about Vagrant Story OP? Couldn't get past Snowfly Forest?
>>3467601
terrible taste tbqh
one of square's best and matsuno's best by far
Does the expansion pack improve all n64 games, or just allows you to play the games what require it? Also 3rd party vs original, any difference between the two?
Google?
>>3467302
Different answers from different sources, I'd just like to hear /vr/ on this one.
>>3467297
Just adds additional RAM to the console for developers to use. This makes me wonder why Nintendo just didn't pull a Saturn and release more expansion packs with even larger RAM inside of them instead of investing in the doomed N64DD.
