Hey everyone, I'm currently trying to research the SPC-700 chip on the super nintendo. I'm having a difficult time finding elaborate information on it.
Can anyone lead to me the right direction to learn more?

All you need to know about it is music generated by it sounds like muffled wet farts.
>>3480394
>mfw Genesis sounds like farts and tins
>mfw SNES sounds slightly better but still like something played back with a potato-tier tape recorder located 750 rooms away
>mfw PS1 and Saturn made the chip designs not shit and gave us actual good sounding music topped with dat sweet CD audio
I know the whole CD things been around since late 80's but I would still like to thank the latter two for making it standard.
>>3480453
You mean Turbo-CD and Sega CD, right? Those had Redbook Audio years before Saturn and PSX.
Post some cutie console babes.

She looks like she's straight out from J-Decker and could issue the combination command at any moment.
>>3480370
Does this count?
/vr what's this? Cant find anything online, its this just a nes clone? Found it on a friend's house
>>3480301
dat 70s floral print sofa!
It's clearly a Nippon America NAVC-3
Does it have an NES 7 pin plug on it or a famiclone 9 pin? Or that big square one on Famicoms?
It's just a third party controller. Nippon America is sorta like RadioShack, they have made a ton of electronic items.
Hey, looking to see if anyone has one of these babies. Mine's pretty banged up and I was wondering if anyone's was too seeing as how old they are, and if they tried fixing it. I want to refurbish it since its so nice but idk
Ebay does. Looks like they're typically asking 300 smackeroos for it. those theirs are in better condition than yours.
I see these all the time, always overpriced as shit.
Of course I'm pretty much always amazed at the price on wooden chests in general. OP should just wipe it with some wood preserving shit once a year and use it as a chest to keep other Nintendo shit in good condition.
I still have mine, and it's in good condition. I kept it in my closet, though, and it's full of old toys.
I CANNOT BEAT THIS GAME!!! Can't even beat the 3rd level ffs!

They say Dark Souls is hard! I have never had such difficulty with a SNES game in my life!
lrn 2 deflect projectiles with the wand thingy
>>3479883
it's not that bad. there are just some basics you need to figure out. the boss attacks are easy to dodge and enemies either move in streams or take a long time to attack
until the final stage. which is absolute bullshit.
number 2 is easier if you want a similar game
best game in world
sure kid whatever you say
>>3479859
it had potencial to be a really good game if they had a better team that could program a proper engine for it.
>>3479859
Please don't act like this was a masterpiece. Some of the concepts were ahead of their time but overall the actual product that was released was a mess.
I want to watch this with context
What's the best way to get into Wizardry?
>>3479670
>What's the best way to get into Wizardry?
Play Etrian Odyssey and then pretend it's 10x as bullshit and 1/10 as long.
Adventure -> Rogue -> dnd -> Telengard / Oubliette -> Akalabeth -> Ultima/Wizardry
All on original hardware, peripherals and software for the authentic experience obviously.

I watched it without context. Was alright.
One of the few things that stops me from killing myself is knowing my parents will sell my games for a lot less than they're worth.
>>3479489
Your games aren't worth anything anymore, so please
PLEASE
kill your fucking self right now
DO IT
>>3479489
get a fuckin job
>>3479489
Sell them on your own, then kill yourself. It's not a difficult prospect.
I'm in love. Post random retro vidya related pics

psxfin
Mednafen or bust

>I want the get the maximum out of them.
Step 1: don't use ePSXe.
Reasonable price for this?
$0.50
>>3478738
Had a good chuckle over that one.
Anyone else?
What games deserve exactly the amount of acclaim they've received, /vr/?
>>3478347
>Ripto's Rage
You mean this massive downgrade from the previous game with brand new garbage contents, weaker OST and generic art direction?
>>3478347
Certainly not any second-party PSX game, everyone jacks off Crash and Spyro despite being very subpar with the former having momentumless physics and the latter having barren empty uninteresting level designs.
What's the best (HD?) shaders for Crash Bandicoot 1-3?
Also any way to get rid of the (texture?) flickering that happens around objects when running PS1 games at 1080p (4:3 of course) etc.
I'm too impatient to wait for the remastered trilogy so I'm starting a playthrough now
best PS1 shader(s) in general?
anyone?
This board is slow stop bumping your fucking thread all you're doing is making people not want to respond.
Now that the dust has settled, we can all agree that the 32X was a pretty good system, right?
At the very least, it's better than the terrible CD add-on, with its plethora of interactive movies.
It ok
I had fun with it.
Best games I played were
After Burner II
Virtua Fighter
Shadow Squadron
Knuckles Chaotix
Virtua Racing Deluxe

GCCX General - Gameless Winter Edition
>What is Game Center CX

New episode when? A little bit of a drought going on and I'm itching for something new.
The whole list is in here if anyone needs it.

so why do you suppose they edited out Charlotte's route in the QND episode?
Lack of time? Didn't want to appeal to filthy lolicons?

Looks more like toddlercon to me.
