What do you want out of your game storage?

I keep mine in some drawers beneath my tv for easy access. I don't give a shit if anyone sees them, because I keep my collection of games to play rather than display.

If you care about displaying your games you might want to go for something that looks a bit nicer, and at least stack the snes titles so you can see the end labels better.

If you just want to keep them somewhere safe than that will be fine. I hope its not too much of a pain to get to them, because then it could get annoying when you're sitting down playing and want to switch games.

Why's the cutoff date 1983? Some of the best 2600 games were released when Atari was trying to revitalize the 2600 after the NES was so successful.

I was actually doing some Atari 2600 dev recently. Such a weird system to work with. Any game that wasn't a complete Pong or Combat clone on the system is honestly pretty impressive.

Hello anonymous! Prince of persia has always been a good one for me, but I have only ever been able to find it for MS-DOS format, and getting a SVGA or sound blaster card is a nightmare at times.

Forest of Monsters from Castlevania IV always gave me a darkwave/death rock vibe, even if it doesn't have guitars, the bassline and the drumming, and the overall gloominess of it makes me thing it could easily be a song from Christian Death or some other similar band.

I spent the most time on Riviera no thanks to its same screen labyrinths and kill-in-one-turn-or-do-over boss bullshit, but I would hardly call that game the best. If you're action-y person, check the castlevania games. Also, do yourself a favor and get the shining force, it's a worthy remake.

Keep trying until you find an strategy.
A lot people just do the same shit over and over again without learning, it takes them a very long time to finish even short games like Castlevania, and if they actually beat a game it's most likely through sheer luck since they're too stupid to recognize patterns.
