Playing with my actual childhood consoles and games and still being able to enjoy them.

The fact these things are now expensive and sought-after also add to it, but it's mostly just the joy of playing.

Before you buy anything make sure you find out whether it's stereo or mono. You don't want to get stuck with some one-speaker shitter, totally ruins some games.

A mildly experienced player can reach literally any World in SMB3 in under 5 min, with the tradeoff of less (or no) backup inventory items. It was a perfect setup of built-in mechanics and shortcuts, conceived to make a save battery basically pointless.

So do I. But since I have an NTSC-U console, I have to use the swap method, which unfortunately doesn't work with KF1 for some reason.

You could just update the wiki. Keep in mind that typically speaking, anybody that's played the classics that should be added to that list aren't using that wiki or don't go to that website anymore.

It's a wiki, just fucking add them - nobody's going to take them away. There's shit on there that has single digit scores on Metacritic but as long as you write up a little description anything's fine.

I don't really get the recent backlash towards it either, it's a useful tool to find some obscure games. Using it as some kind of test of your personal taste isn't useful.
