Look at this piece of shit I got for free.
Tested, works fine but holy fuck. This is the worst one I've ever saw. Thought I'd share.
Anyone try any methods to restore natural color ? How were they?
>>3705192
One popular way is to make this concoction with Hydrogen Peroxide and paint it on and set it in sunlight.
Iv also heard ( and am going to try) to fill a dish with Hydrogen Peroxide and let the shell soak in it all day in the sun.
Let's not go through all this again, eh?
>>3695338
It's the natural color. Nobody painted it or anything.
Altering it afterwards would be unnatural. They are suppose to turn golden to show their maturity.
Hello /vr/!
I got pic related recently, but for some reason it cant handle some games properly (distorted/colorless picture).
So is there any good hardware to stream audio and video signal from old game console (5-6 gen) to PC with no problem?
>>3705094
What model of raspberry pi is this?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mc76v8aP5LU
As far as I know it can do 15khz RGB, too.
>>3705108
Oh man, price tag bites hard.
This is the worst thing ever created in video game history
If it wasn't invented, 90% of people with 70s and 80s TVs wouldn't be able to play games dingus.
>>3705016
That's not the Final Fantasy 9 strategy guide...
>>3705016
Back in the day most people with the sets from the 70s into the 80s wouldn't have even been able to rock videogames without this.
Is there any place or service that restores CRTs to perfect conditions (ie manually fixing convergence and color issues)?
Buy a bar magnet. It'll make any CRT good as new.
>>3704926
Probably.
You're almost always better to just get a new one. Late year, 00 or 03 model TV's are still going strong. Hell, I have TV's from the 80's that are still going strong.
>project m on shrek tv
could this image be anymore euphoric?
Has anyone played this? Is it good?
>>3704838
No one has ever played it before.
>>3704838
It's pretty good, proof that not only Capcom did good beat 'em ups back in the team.
Like any other game of the genre, make sure to grab a friend to play with you, this game is nuts in a good way. Pure fun.
>>3704838
I would spend at least $5 on this game each time i'd play this back in the day. this game is all kinds of fun
Every time I put it on my apps folder and boot it up on my homebrew channel it won't start up any solutions ??

Not op but what is the best version of retroarch for wii and why has no version I have tried had a working pc engine cd emulator. It sort of worked in 2.21 but it had no sound.
>>3704776
RetroArch has a Wii core? What?
It's usually down to a config file in the folder on the root of your sd. Just delete that folder and it should recreate itself if memory serves. Long time since I used retroarch. Every damn wii version has problems since 1.0.0.2 (I think that was the last version that worked well -don't quote me on that) went off retroarch when snes9x core lost my rpg save game. Nothing hits you harder than losing progress in an rpg imo.
Did you know that Decap Attack was originally a Japanese game called Doki Doki Panic?
Wowzers
Yes. I knew this as a kid and assumed everyone else knew it as well until a few years ago.
>>3704741
man, what happened to this board?
Why the hell do japs like SD games so much
I swear to god i'm playing them in alphabetical order and i will never leave SD because there are so many goddamn SD gundam rpgs
>>3704729
The puzzle game is pretty good though
>>3704729
Wait, you're playing the entire library? Of what, Snes/Sfc?
>>3704729
Cause it's cute.
do you think that by the year 2000, video games will look as good as this?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFFMwwri-qc
I had this on vhs back in the day. Forgot all about it. Neat.
To answer your question op.... No. Video games will never surpass this.
>>3704684
Believe it or not, but I'm a time traveler from a distant year of 2006. Can confirm, video games still don't look this good. Al Gore is president by the way
>>3704684
you didn't post the best one
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UNkRvcUn6VM
What's the best game within this game? I've only played the one that's basically the first Dreamland
>>3704616
Most will say milky way wishes or revenge of metaknight, maybe a few will say great cave offensive.
>>3704616
I'm partial to the arena because my friend and I used to have a blast trying to beat it on coop with different abilities.
Great Cave Offensive and Milky Way Wishes are the two most substantial game modes, both take about an hour to complete on their own. Revenge of Meta Knight is shorter but always stood out to me as being the most fun of the full games.
>>3704616
I really like The Great Cave Offensive, because it's like one big continuous level. And having to find all the treasure chests makes it even bigger, without being tedious or frustrating.
Also Milky Way Wishes is breddy gud.
I guess those two are the bestest since they're also the most expansive.
>remove the only thing that made the first game memorable
>somehow manage to make the action sequences even more sluggish and frustrating
Why does this game exist? I've only played one level and I already feel like moving on to something else.
So many phallic symbols in that boxart...
>>3704595
The god simulator parts sucked and took way too long
Actraiser 2 is a bad game because the platforming is also bad, not for removing the sim shit
>>3704658
>Actraiser 2 is a bad game because the platforming is also bad, not for removing the sim shit
It's bad because of both. Hell, I'd safely say it'd be a better game if it was only sim shit.
I'm really bad at games. I can't remember the last game I was actually able to sit down and finish. I am especially terrible at platformers. I have a slight hand tremor so that could be the cause or I could just suck. Do you guys have an suggestions for easy forgiving games like pic related
inb4 git gud
Game Sharks and Savestates are a thing.
>>3704548
Does it have to be platformers?
If not Resident Evil 1,2
>>3704548
Play something like Kirby The Crystal Shards (N64) or Kirby Superstar (Snes), the series in general is pretty easy and forgiving, but also fun, I can't imagine someone being unable to beat it if they try a little bit.
Find a flaw
except being a bit too easy
I found it challenging enough.
-There is too much focus on guns on the second half of the game
-Linn's gun is too good
but it's a pretty good game
>>3704542
Final boss is a joke though if you set it up right but its not Mutation Nation level of jobbing.
-No in-depth scoring system, but who cares, neither does any of the classic beat-em-up's.
-Predator Warrior might be a tad OP.
Still one of the best things to come out of 90's Capcom.
>/vr/ constantly fights over Capcom vs. Virgin Aladdin
>not realising that THIS is the superior Aladdin game
>3D
ewwww

>2001
Not retro.
Very pretty game
gonna dump images.
guys, a store near me is selling some leftover shit they had on clearance to push people to buy old shit for the holidays, and they had a whole huge box of original PS1 japanese memory cards like never been opened before.
are these rare NIB?
should i buy as much as i can?
where i live people dont appreciate retro shit and would rather throw away a ps1 or put it in storage than conserve it.
comes in this clear case/holder
the security band is still on, this is untouched
