that's some well armored couch.
I honestly dislike Chrono Trigger.
I played, at least trice, until after the dome part when you arrive to that "end of time" place and find out about Lavos, however it is unappealing to me that you're just told "lulz go stop Lavos" with no hints as to how to do it.
Am I supossed to just wander around different time periods until I accidentaly stumble upon something Lavos-related or is there something I'm missing? I dislike the idea of just wandering around with no idea of what I'm looking for.

It's not for you, Tim.
it's kinda weak. Combat isn't that interesting, it's not really a difficult game so there's no real challenge to overcome. It's novel, and even kinda important, but it's really not a big deal.
But hey, at least nintendo tax has made it stand out.
Japanese RPG is the most pointless shittiest genre ever.
Hey, Ive always wanted to do a little project that's kinda dumb but I still wanna do it.
I've always wanted to mod an ISO of LSD dream emulator and change the background music sound files to vaporwave ambient songs. The game is literally as authentically aesthetic as it gets. How would I go doing this? I've seen people talk about knowing code and more shit I don't know about, is there a tool that would sort of make it like PC files or something? Like just delete the original music files, and add the new files and rename them what the old ones were named. Idk if this is viable but what I think is like, the game loads an area and finds "track1" to play. If I delete the real track1 and add let's say some blank banshee and rename it track1 I could do this without changing the code since it's still getting track1.
You're a retard asking stupid questions. You should look into editing some of the obnoxious footsteps first of you wanted to "I M P R O V E" the game"
Go play Namco Museum.

>literally authentically aesthetic
Go back to facebook and quit using aesthetic as an adjective
>>3697094
You know ISO is a container format? Just extract the data from the ISO, zip it back up in the .iso format add the music you want and voila. You should probably make a backup just in case you fuck up though.
Why was Doom "The One" and not Wolfenstein 3D?
back then they were usually mentioned together.
>>3693710
Doom was a better game overall.
Because Doom had all the word of mouth buzz. It was a time when videogames had blood removed from them before being published because of fear of public outcry, and Doom had full on demons with an aesthetic of blood and guts.
How many exits have you guys gotten? 81 over here.

More info of what you are talking about would be great.

>there are thousands of /vr/ games you've yet play
>nearly all of them are available right now and can be downloaded instantly
How do you decide what game to play next? With so many choices it is overwhelming.
I flip through back issues of old game magazines or if I've been playing one I enjoy, use online resources to find other similar ones.
>>3681445
Even if there are a shit ton of games, you're only playing one at a time, not thousands, so its no big deal.
If you still think its overwhelming try narrowing down the choices and focus on one console or genre at a time.
I decide in my mind if it's worth checking out, and then I play it. Some games were fun, others ok.
Post terrible box art or any other art that doesn't represent a game well.
Basiscally all Zelda games.
At least they started adding Link on the boxes by Wind Waker, the gold boxes with the logo and maybe an item were stupid.
>>3676337
It stood out to me as a kid like few other games I owned did.
>>3675247
see the avgn box art series..
Get a load of what these retards are bidding for a DC with a couple spindles of backup cd-rs:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sega-Dreamcast-Special-Bundle-LOTS-OF-GAMES-/201755357453
>>3707027
You forgot to mention that it comes with 5 controllers, a gun, rumble pack and memory cards.
The stack of cd-rs is just a bonus.
It's not a bad deal, but it would be a lot better if it was selling for $120, rather than being an auction.
Then again, if it was only $120, it probably would have been bought already.Although the shipping is $55 fucking dollars and I'd have to convert both the shipping and price into dollarydoos.
>>3707041
Shipping is $30 within the US
>>3707042
That's still a fair bit.
I would hope that money goes into proper packaging.
Would be horrible bidding against other people for days, waiting until it arrives and then suddenly everything is just pieces of plastic and microchips.
I'm about to beat this in one sitting.
ITT games you had 0 expectations for and turned out to be surprisingly fun.
>>3706443
I should give that another try since now looking back I was really unfair to it cause it wasn't muh Goldeneye.
I liked that game a lot as a kid. Might give it another go since it's been at least 14 years since I've last played it.
>>3706615
It was more like a much less polished Shyphon Filter clone. Not a top title or anything but really fun for a rushed movie game. Definitely better than PS TWINE and its half assed attempt at being Goldeneye imo
I've noticed a lot of the early PS1 games I come across have choppy FMVs, with sound going out and bits of video being dropped for no reason. Is this disc rot in action or did they just suck at putting video on discs back then?
>>3706379
CDs, not even once.
Cartridge master race.
>>3706379
bro ur laser is broken
Gen 5 cd drives don't last forever. Most PS1/Saturn systems are dying out of the box at this point. PS1 was actually really good at playing FMV since it had a built-in mpeg4 decoder.
So what are the best games for 32X and Sega CD? I just got a working Sega CD a few days ago for an amazing price that I couldn't resist. But now all I need is games. So what are some good 32X/CD games?
There's a total of six and they're all shitty FMV titles.
>>3706314
>maybe I'll be more specific
I mean games for both add-ons 32x games and CD games, not the CD32x games.
I'm a big fan of the Spider-Man Sega CD game. Also, it has the best version of Earthworm Jim.
Please post retrogame music that really makes you feel you're embarking on a fantastic adventure

Did NES mini do this with NES games?
>>3705638
No.
Just beat this after all these years
Opinions?
Seems like beat em up kino to me.
Almost the same here, beat it last fall for the first time. Never owned it on my SNES. Catwoman was a fucking bitch to beat...
>>3705279
My brother finally beat it last year. This game has always been one of our favorites on the SNES.
well what about me
