Let's have a retro Fire Emblem thread. (FE1 to FE5)

Just finished FE4. Had some fun, even with all its flaws. The plot is pretty good and there's a lot of great gameplay mechanics going on. Even if all the maps are kinda the same, there's lots of really hard enemies on some of them, especially the magic ones. Even so, the game is kinda easy, and the backtracking is incredibly annoying.

Got to try Thracia 776 now.

I played the first two late last year.
First one was pretty good; reminded me of Langrisser. (I suppose it's the other way around.)
Second one (Gaiden) I didn't like as much. It felt kind of "sloppy" compared to the focused map strategy of the first game.

my Genesis works without it but when I try to use it the picture is either black and white or green and when I shut off the console the 32X literally makes it stay on. I have a soldering kit, I could probably fix it I just need to know what's causing the problem

No changes made.

Looks like the inconsistent promotional art between regions was a huge factor as to why they based Double Dragon IV on the second NES game (since it used the same boxart and in-game visuals on both region).

SMB3 is pretty great although I prefer the NES sound and it's missing some of the cool art direction details from the NES (like the transparent powerup figures in the sky)
SMB1/LL is cool and has nice background graphics, but I know some people around here loathe them because of the slight difference in physics, I honestly never noticed it until I read about it.
