Was anybody else alive and playing video games when this came out? Kids today probably won't understand because it looks like shit today, but Super Mario 64 blew my fucking mind at the time. I had never seen anything like it. The feeling I got when I saw a fully rendered 3D environment for the first time is indescribable.

I think generally the original version is more enjoyable. Everything was likely more carefully thought out as opposed to being cranked up later.

It was ONE GUY who talked once about getting stuck there as a kid, and somehow everybody on the internet read his post and pretended they got stuck too, so they could be "epic" and react with manufactured illegitimate frustration. It's baffling

Bomberman Party Edition is definitively the best Bomberman game for PS1 at least.

Behind the cute visuals bomberman games are usually pretty intense, it gets more addicting the more you play.

Random tip: This screen is not a difficulty selection, depending of your pick the choices of characters and arenas will change, in Advanced each character has a special power.
