What's your most valuable games, both loose and CIB?

Also any rare systems/accessories (e.g. Jaguar CD, Gamecube Component cables)?

Mine are pictured. Nothing impressive, but all are still a blast to play. My roomate had the NES Stadium Events and sold it to Funcoland 20 years ago for like $50...

Magical Chase is my most valuable game. I have a quite a few other high dollar games, though.

This game aged like milk. You can't even mouselook or aim down sights. Why do people still play this shit?

Nice try, OP.

Decided to play through the Zelda series from the first, though I've heard some shit about the second game, is it worth playing?

Black sheep in the series, or underappreciated?

of course it's worth playing

it's a fun game with a decent amount of challenge

very good combat

Underappreciated, my favorite NES game of all time desu.
>>
>>3838897

Both. Just try it, how are we supposed to know if you like it. It's 2D and has xp, it will be different.

Play until you get to the other continent with the raft. Should take an hour most, if you don't like it till then then stop playing

Lots of good games. The SC-3000, the computer release of the console, has a great community in Australia and New Zealand.

Of course not. Satan would be capable of making actual good games.

No. No gaming company was outright founded by demons (at least, none that survived more than a month), but these days, Activision, EA, and Ubisoft all have infernal shareholders.

I just always thought the Saturn version was garbage. Like something some random guy made on his home computer. The Genesis version spawned several classic tunes that have been remade and remixed to hell and back ever since. So obviously Genesis.

The original game was intended to use every bit of the Atari 800's RAM but the commercial release was meant to be playable on Atari 400s or even worse on the 2600 so they removed things like bats that attack when you loiter for too long.

So my Everdrive 64 and horipad just arrived. Also buying a new N64 because it came with transfer, rumble and memory packs for a nice price which should be arriving soon.

Should I get a HDMI mod for my new 64? The thing looks nice on my CRT - there's some slight problems with it which are the CRT's problems and not my old 64's problems.

I have the money - that's not an issue for me at all regarding this. Could any anons chime in about whether or not the HDMI mod is worth it?

Also general 64 thread I guess.

You should melt it down and pour it in your butt.
>>
UltraHDMI is pretty cool. if anything, I'd complain that it looks sorta un-N64-y because it looks so good.

I'd wager that I'm one of the least appropriate people to splurge on it. I haven't actually played anything on it in a month. but I don't regret it a bit. the urge will return sporadically, and my shitty s-video cables were creating mad checkerboard patterns that bugged the fuck out of me.

think about it. you know you're leaning one way or the other. if it's towards getting it, and if you really don't care about the cost, do it.

you know it's pretty legit, and it makes a huge difference in video quality.
>>
You sound like me one year ago
>buy jungle green 64 with a bunch of accessories
>buy an everdrive
>buy horipad
One year later
>paid for an ultra hdmi installation.

I'd say the uhdmi is absolutely worth it, but that's only because I've always hated how shitty the n64 looks. It even looks like trash on my very very nice CRT.

What are some games in which you can do this?

If you do it in pic related, you can often find a room or two from the start of the next level at the end of the current one.

I don't think it's possible to do a generic "make 2D games 3D plugin". Especially not the NES, which has 1 background layer.

I fucking love this.

Hello /vr. Me and my friend have been fiddling with Super Mario Bros. cheats, in order to glitch things a little bit. So, what we did was use an emulator (NES Nostalgia as far as I remember) and enter pretty random cheat codes. These were 6 letters each and we managed to find 2 of them working: YEAAAA and LUTHOR (don't ask how we found them...). The result is similar to what I've attached. Does any of you know how the cheat is interacting with the game in order to make such result? Also, does anyone know similar cheats that cause this?
