Play the normal version first, then Master Quest as a second quest. Does Minish Cap have a second quest? At any rate the 3DS versions are more solid than the GameCube versions, I'm told.

Hell no! Master Quest exists purely to challenge people who already know the dungeon layouts, as that's the only thing changed. If you're going in blind you should play the vanilla game.

I didn't even like B&W or S&M. It's just textextextextextextextextextextextextextextextextextextextextextextextextext when you want to do even the simplest of things. If the game wasn't hammering me with text boxes and repetitive animations and other time wasters, I would not run out of patience so quickly.

I'm 28 with a job, I want to PLAY games, not stare at them waiting for permission to press A. Sun and Moon did a great job in killing off many sacred cows, but the sheer amount of time wasting the game throws at you is not acceptable in this day and age.

Selecting a potion and healing my pogeymans should take a few seconds. The devs should play SMT4 and learn something because the interface in that game is lightning fast. Or hell, Elminage. The interface in that goes as fast as you do.

The first 3 gradius games (at least) and salamander/lifeforce are 1cc or nothing. There are no continues, just 3 lives and you get a permanent game over.

In the Japanese only novelezation it was revealed that the 'kings' were usurpers who attempted to take power after Princess Peach was kidnapped by Bowser. Bowser in a fit of rage punished the would be kings by transforming them.
After Mario restores them to their original form he banishes them from the Mushroom Kingdom and they end up forever lost in the ruins of the underground.

Fuck, I watched a longplay of this thing. It was an obscurish x68000 game that had some single word title like 'expert' or something. Looked rad in that doujin game with limited assets kind of way.
