Would be so much better if they stuck to making it look like stained glass.
this game is literally impossible. 3 large bunnies taking up the whole screen and no fucking way to doge them cuz the come out super fast. seriously WTF?
and you are only playing the snes port
>>3858481
Did you upgrade your speed?
>>3858481
Sup Vludi.
Are there any alternatives to the NES controller that have an easier to press D-pad?
I've never beaten an NES game (or any pre 5th gen game really) because the D-pads are really hard to press down for me because I have bad arthritis in my left wrist due to a childhood injury.
The DS Lite had the only d-pad I could stand.
NES Max is the easiest answer but it actually does require pressure. You're actually the first person in my life I've seriously recommended the Turbo Touch to. I usually just make fun of it for having like the gayest ad ever.

This is an interesting question. I believe there were one handed controllers but I can't find any proof. What about the nes advantage joystick? Good luck
>>3858012
ASCII made two different one handed NES controllers both called the "Stick L5". I guess OP did say it was only his left hand.
Can we talk about fucking bonkers prizes use to be for promotional contests?
I'm not sure if this gets threads around here often, but stuff like the Final Fantasy island adventure sounds like a JRPG-kid wet dream.
Literally holy grails of video game collecting

>Four $25,000 diamond-studded golden crowns.
>A $50,000 gem-studded sword
Fucking Christ. This is only made more remarkable by how unfamiliar SwordQuest and EarthWorld are.
>>3858002
Well see the "crash" happened, Airworld was never even released and the contest was ended half way through.with the winners of the talisman and chalice both being paid off with a $12,500 check. The crown, stone/box and sword all existed though and were shown to the players at the first two playoffs. Jack Tamriel was rumored to have been in possession of the sword but after his death its location like the other two treasures is a complete mystery.
How do you get past this? Playing directly off the mounted disk image since the installer freezes at 100.
By realising we're not your tech support nor Google you fucking mong
Don't pay 30ยข for a blank CD and burn the image on it or anything

So, I was thinking about my actual kindergarten days and I remember this oooold pc program that I haven't been able to find for 19 years.
The program consisted of a menu on the left and bottom of the screen (I think), a black tiled board, and four instruments which you select. The instruments float around, and when they touch tiles that you colored in, they played a sound based on the color. There were also reversal tiles, turn tiles, etc.
This program was on my old elementary school computers and that was around 2002-2003. I seriously need help finding this dusty program/ game. What the hell is it? I've been all over the place asking about it.
Pic barely related, but colored tiles.

SimTunes?
>>3857550
This is exactly it. How in the hell do people even still remember this game?
>>3857554
'cause it was awesome. Not him, but I still have my CD from when I was a kid. even though the only thing I ever was able to make with my feeble young mind was shitty noise
Which Final Fantasy has the best soundtrack, and why was it 6?
FF5

FF7 by far
So why did Arthur turn into a skeleton?
Because he fucking died
>>3857039
you're going to do the same, just not as fast
>>3857039
Unironically that's what happens when people die. Literally retarded.
Thoughts on New Game Plus?
I can play it
What was the first game with a New Game+?
>>3856963
It's a'aight, but probably not for every game.
>>3856978
Earliest one I can think of playing is pic related; it's pretty great being able to just pick up the game and beat it without any grinding
Are there any hacks that add it to some classic jrpg? I'd like to replay ff7 with stockable materia development and whatnot
I recently bought myself a Super Famicom for my PAL TV and I'm having problems with vertical jittering (if that's the correct term). I tried googling the problem, but I couldn't find a solution since everyone seems to be having different kind of jittering based on their descriptions. Could this be caused because of my TV being shit and not being able to process the NTSC console output, or just because the resolution is 240p? Could some cheapo SCART to HDMI upscaler fix this?
I'll include an example video in the next post.
Example of the problem. I can try to get better video if needed.
NTSC is a different standard, it doesn't make a tv better or worse not to be able to use it. It could not work at all and still be a great tv.
>>3856920
should have bought a PAL SNES and put a 60hz switch in it
glorious PAL60 instead of garbage NTSC
>just finished Klonoa
>all dem feels
W-WHY
it was supposed to be only a cute platform!
inb4 furfags
That look Huepow gives on his face, right at the end, is unintentionally funny.

Platformer?

Will we ever get an actual translation? I'd like to actually understand the story of this game.
>>3856197
HAHAHAHAHA 90's POP CULTURE REFERENCE!
>>3856197
Falcom games have a certain tone, don't they? Like they're not very serious in the first place.
>they put a Bill Clinton joke in Lunar 2
Which version sucked less? and is just between these two.
Snes bitch
SNES Doom loses not just because of the graphical problems, but it fucked up one of the best parts of doom: enemies attacking each other. Enemies never faced away from you and it just made it into a different, less fun game.
Since there is a doom general, can we make this a shitty port rating thread?
What was the worst Samurai Shodown port? (Not including portable systems)
Why haven't you traveled to Atlantis yet, /vr/? You know where it's located.
>>3856016
Because I couldn't get past Mr. Costa.
Why is he so perfect you guys
It took me 20 years after first playing this game and getting obsessed, but I finally did and it was great!
Still have to get to the Azores, Iceland, and Tikal though.
Has anyone played the warcraft 3 custom campaigns?
>>3855998
I'm sorry, but not retro.
But I remember wasting my time playing the TD ones.
i've only played the Founding of Durotar custom campaign built into Frozen Throne.
it was fun
No, it was Battlenet Custom Games all the way.
