I love real hardware for the nostalgic value but I'm not delusional about the differences between real hardware and emulation. A lot of emulators are so good that you'd never notice the difference. I use emulators most of the time because they're much more convenient, but I enjoy real hardware for consoles with poor emulation, or when I just wanna get cozy.

I haven't played in a long time, but honestly I would skip one even if you love 2 to death. The sequel just improved upon everything. The story, balance, and amount of content all just feel better to me. Plus the user based content has to be much higher.

These days:

The wrong company died.

SEGA went full cancer in 6thgen though. QTE cinematic trash like Shenmue, DLC, and online paywalls were set. Was just an earlier XBox but no big FPS.

That is completely inaccurate. No way any of those are coming close to 100ms like this implies. Most emulators on crt fall closer to 1-10ms depending on the settings. Ignore this thread people, these numbers are made up.
