It blows my mind that we live in a time when the Genesis/Mega Drive has been PROVEN to be inferior almost every way, and Segacucks still defend it because "muh Sonic" or whatever.
There's a reason Sega failed as a hardware developer and now develops games for Nintendo. They were a shit company with no foresight, who released inferior technology, and derivative/uninspired games. Nintendo looked to the future and innovated, while Sega looked to Nintendo and imitated.

I love everything about this game but one thing: it's so short and easy it doesn't really feel that satisfying when you beat the game.

In before this thread gets deleted, play Heavy Metal FAKK 2, Alice was pretty much a mod of that game. Ritual Entertainment developed a heavily modified fork of Quake 3's engine for FAKK 2 and then EA bought the whole code base for Alice, which they used pretty much as is, there's a lot of left overs from FAKK 2 and the non-shooting gameplay is very very similar.

If you have to sacrifice compatibility either way, you may as well grab a cheap Chinese cart and get repros of everything else.

Classic WS games are compatible with WSC, but only some WSC games are compatible with classic WS. There's no way of knowing in the latter case except to try it and see.

It's not entirely dissimilar to how some GBC games were compatible with monochrome Game Boy. The difference here is that compatible GBC games were actually designed with that compatibility in mind, whereas some WSC games might incidentally work with classic WS hardware. With Game Boy, you have something called a dual-mode cartridge. This was usually a solid black cartridge, although color variations like PokeMon Gold and Silver exist. The black carts signified compatibility with classic GB. But WSC carts don't have any such indication of their compatibility.

Lies, there is a adapter for the PS3 to copy PSX memory cards to the hard drive.

They probably have the most iterations of each sound track that I know of, but otherwise there are some good song, some great one, and a lot of boring ones. I used to have the whole album of the Sharp X68000 of Ys III which was really great, but I tried listening to the other iteration (there was a progressive rock one, a jazz fusion on, PC98 one, and the worst the SNES and Genesis

Yuzo Koshiro is my favorite composer although I have not played any Ys games. I really want it for my Master System tho

PC Engine versions had the best Ys soundtracks followed by PC-88/98 versions.
