Would you also pay 3380 pounds for this?
I never understood how the limeys paid for anything before the advent of electronic banking, when their dollars weigh a pound each.
The favorite games of /vr/ and why?
is this a good game /vr/?
never played dragon lair.
>>4111630
Dragon's Lair and many of the other FMV-based games of that era all are the same. Press X to not die. You press Up, Down, Left, Right, or X when the game demands it. If you do it right, you survive to the next prompt. If you fail, the game kills you. If this sounds like fun to you, go right ahead.
I'd personally recommend just watching the animation scenes if you are a Don Bluth fan or like quality traditional animation. It's pretty stuff.

anons will tell you that it's "objectively" bad, but it's still fun

No. It looks great but the game play is shit. Think an hour long QTE.
Don't abandon me, anon
Hey guys I'm looking for an old educational game from the late 90s-early 2000s era. It was a first person game where you started off in a space ship & landed on earth in a kind of candy land. It was still green & brown from memory but you could throw chocolate and drink from a lemonade stream, there were a few lollipop trees too. You had to collect letters or words or something in this area...
Later in the game you ended up in some lava type area using springs with words or numbers tied to them to get to the next ledge. Right answer = right spring etc
idk if this is the best place to put this thread & the pic is obviously unrelated but if you guys could help it'd take a weight off your mind. Of course you can post your own forgotten games if this sparked any memories for you
I can't remember

Now, stay with me here.
Would the Power Glove's legacy be different if it was released with a different console? If, for example, it was used with the Nintendo 64, could it have revolutionized motion controls sooner, or dare I say, better than the Wii? With the uprising of 3D gameplay and technology being improved past the time of the NES, what could have been?
Thoughts on this, /vr/?
Now that you mention it the Power Glove is pretty similar to the Wiimote and yes it would have been way more useful in 3D environments. Might have given the N64 a bit more of an edge against Playstation if it had Wii Sports on it.
What are some of the most honest and accurate advertisements in video games intentionally or not.

For those of you who've completed Super Mario 64, how did it feel to finally defeat Bowser during the final battle?
Exciting.
Also, holy shit the music in that battle is Bach-tier.

So I just remembered I game I used to love playing. I only had the demo, but I played it numerous times. It was kind of a top down castle game where you played as an old man with a cane and you roamed around a castle in one square movements dodging floating monsters. The game was all in sprites, had midi music and sound effects. Really hard to remember specific details. You eat an apple and it brings back some health. You eat a mushroom and you turn green and are poisoned. You drink alcohol and you randomly spin around while walking. Anybody have any clue what this game is called?
Pic is kind of what the maps look like, except a lot more pixelated.
The Immortal?
Sorry for low-quality pic.

I had this demo.
I'm hoping it's the same as what OP is thinking about. Because it's what I thought of when reading his post.
Fun game.
Holy hot damn, these games are fuckin good. Maybe even better than III.
Blue Ninja was best with his grappling hook and turning into mother-fucking tornado
Eh, they're a little too gimmicky for my tastes. I prefer Revenge of Shinobi, Cyber Shinobi and the arcade games.
