How far can you expect to go with a Tibia free account?
I have played during the 7.5 era, and tried it again with some anons 2 years ago, but the game seemed Pay-to-Win that I dropped out after 1 month.
What is wrong with my Mario Allstars?
When I power it on I get this message. And google won't tell me jack shit!
Anyone ever encountered this problem?
Are you using the nes ac adapter with it? I remember some game wouldn't work with it due to power draw.
Looks like there's a problem with the cart PCB.
Some SNES games have screens like that, that might show up because a checksum check didn't turn up correctly or because the game detected too much RAM or just not the right amount of RAM.
This was mean to counter piracy by blocking games from running on copiers and stuff.
In your case it could be for a number of reasons:
1. The connection of the cartridge to the SNES is dirty
2. A/some trace/s on your carts PCB have corroded away
3. One of the pins of the ram chip or the mask roms or a passive component has a cold broken solder joint
Back in the day I've played a demo on PS1:
>Horizontal platformer
>Play as a rocker dude with a leather jacket (I think)
>You can shoot laser beams
>You can use the laser beam as a grappling hook to get up on platforms and swing around
Does anyone know such game? I am European btw.
rapid reload/gunners heaven?

Wild 9?

Sounds like pitfall3D: Beyond the jungle, except for the lasers. That sounds more like One or Blasto. Maybe Wild 9.
Anybody here use OpenEmu for mac? I'm trying to get Resident Evil 3 for playstation to work on my fiancee's macbook but it's not working. it worked on an emulator called PCSXR but I couldn't get my dualshock 4 to work on that (only controller I have right now).

Hey vr, could y'all help me by getting the sprites for the phosphorus grenade fire from strife so I can recolour them for use in a doom wad mod that changes the BFG behaviour to leave a burning green fire for a while after use?
>>4118083

2. fuck you, google it, it's not that hard

god knows we need to save space for seven or eight more Castlevania threads
I am curious about playing the arcade version of super mario, but for what i see there are two versions of it ("set SM4-4 E" & "set ?, harder") can anybody tell me what is the difference between the two and which one is more accurate to the arcade
>>4117521
I know nothing about VS. SMB in particular, but I can say that arcade games often have a variety of revisions. Sometimes these might be different country releases (US, JAPAN, WORLD, and so forth), and sometimes they might be observable gameplay changes within the same region version (look up the different arcade versions of GnG/Makaimura for an illustration of this). So, basically, it is possible for multiple different ROM sets to all be legit arcade versions.

(Cont) Another good example would be Street Fighter II, which actually has multiple different revisions within each of the main three pre-Super versions. You can ID them based on the date code which appears at bootup. Now, as for the differences between these, you might having a hard time finding them documented.
So how ARE you supposed to get past the snipers?
By quickly getting out of the car and shooting them dead.

Seems like one of those things they added for the rental market.

Some guy on my local Kikebook group is selling a Snes with a video issue pir related.
Anyone has ever seen this? its the regular model not mini.
Im thinking about the big cap just below the video connector.
Any idea?
I've been wondering what this game was for YEARS, someone help? Rented this thing as a child from Randalls, always wanted to see it again
>Early to mid 90's
>99% sure it was an NES title. Minor chance it was a Sega Genesis game, but doubtful (explained later)
>Never heard of it before, and I was a videogame nut (so not a overly popular title more than likely)
>fighting game
>had weird characters, I seem to recall some kind of praying mantis character with knifes for blades that fell off when he died
>might have been bloody or have some kind of "finish him" sequence after matches ala mortal kombat clone
I remember thinking it was cool because "it's a fighting game like mortal kombat or street fighter, but on the NES". This tells me it wasnt a sega game, and at the time I'm fairly confident we only had NES/Genisis and *maybe SNES, but the later 2 had plenty of fighting games so I wouldn't have had that thought
While I'm almost positive it had the praying mantis char, when typing out the details of his hand blades falling off when beat it made me realize I might be thinking of another game (and now im wondering wtf that would be...battletoads doubledragon?)

>some kind of praying mantis character with knifes for blades
That sounds very much like Time Killers, a fighting game where you could dismember your opponent. It was in the arcades originally and was ported to the Genesis.
>>4115693
I think you nailed it
That title wasnt on NES so it seemed wrong to me initially, but after watching videos of the Genesis version the design of Mantazz seems right both having hand blades + being purple (didn't recall it being purple in memory, but once I saw it it felt right), and they have a stage that is similar to the one blurry memory I have- the dojo stage
Thanks anon!
>>4116828
Happy to help. I think the alternate color of Mantazz was green, so you might be remembering that. I believe the Genesis port was considered to be pretty poor. I remember the game being dumb fun in the arcade.
Trying to find a link for They Hunger but they all lead to a German domain site. Anyone able to help?

For anyone who's curious, archive.org has quite a large DOS game collection that will play in your browser. They recently added a new feature to the emulator which lets you save and load games locally.

That's pretty neat.
What was retro gaming like in Fiji during the 80s & 90s? What was the most popular console?
Anyo0ne recognizes the game on the top left just avobe dragon warrior?
>>4114248
Most definitely Mr. Gimmick, go get that lot anon!

>>4114248
