Actually, yes. One thing I didn't notice at first was the map function. Walk around a new area of the city, and open your map. It lays out the entire area with markers showing the names of locations and stuff like that. It's really useful to just walk in a circle in the city to get the map so it is less overwhelming.

Other than that, just do some side quests and talk to people. It gets a lot less overwhelming once you understand the city (there are only 4 or 5 main areas that are easily mapped)

speaking of which, once you get to the final tower you might want to escape fights, the last boss levels with you. you will know you are there when you can't return to the world map

You can pick up that game for 9.99 at any retro game store or half price books.

Also use a lighter. Hold it far away from the scratch you want fixed and slowly warm it up until the plastic melts ever so slightly and becomes uniform. Don't do this if you're retarded and don't understand heat though, you'll warp the disc and you're fucked.

Is New Generation supposed to be less demanding on the console? I always thought the three SF3 games were mostly the same.

I just figured that since it had less characters, it might be less hardware intensive. Then again, if there is a difference between all three games it's negligible.
