80's movies

No kidding. They go for about 40$ with shipping on ebay :|
So what emulator do you use the most on you PSPs?
>>2907470
NES and PSX.
Pops
Name me a better wrestling game, I dare you.You can't.
>>2907505
Both games are amazingly fun, but this guy nailed it.
/thread
>>2907467
I agree. 4 player wcw/nwo revenge at 12 years old could start nuclear wars. That shit made us MAD. Only the best games would make motherfuckers mad.
>>2907505
Probably the better game but I have a special nostalgic place in my heart for Revenge since it's the one I grew up on. I never played NM.
Thoughts?
game was hard as fuck as a kid, never beat it
and now the color palette makes me wanna throw up so i never play it
One of the best Treasure games.
>>2907371
Liked it a lot as a kid, but never beat it because it's fucking hard. The only thing that makes it more difficult than a typical platformer however, is the fact that AFAIK there are no continues.
has anyone played this game? i loved this sumbitch
Agreed. Team buddies was probably the most fun I've had with the ps1.
has anybody got it to work on an emulator? every time ive tried it just crashes or freezes.
I just want to play pac man to practice for a local arcade. No mobile version f2p fuckery, no shitty ass flash ports, just the midway arcade version of pac man. What's the best way to go about this?

cmon man
What are the best pre-32 bit racing games in your opinion?
Hang On
Awesome port
Lotus series. The first Top Gear and TPG 3000 are both pretty good too.
We are well into the first month of 2016, and I have been having trouble deciding what I want.
So lets play a game /vr/
Visit this site:
http://vip.aersia.net/vip.swf
The song it randomly chooses for you is the next game you will play (If you're in the middle of a game, after that one)
You can only reroll if you get a game that isn't considered retro (IE. Portal)
Post what you get
>Fallout 2
fuck yes
>>2907105
Touhou 6
sweet ive been meaning to play a touhou game
>>2907105
>http://vip.aersia.net/vip.swf
I rolled split/second, which is not retro, so I'm gonna play streets of rage 2 instead.
What's the best way to play Chrono Trigger? Are any of the ports better than the SNES version?
DS has new content and the cutscenes from the PSX version with no shitty loadtimes, but you gotta play it on a tiny ass screen
>>2907127
But the game looks so nice and crisp on that small screen.
The rest of you guys can correct me if I'm wrong, but the DS version only has a single extra sidequest... and that sidequest happens to be zero fun, a huge pain in the ass, with relatively pointless rewards.
What's the last score based /vr/ game you played that's not an arcade game or a port of an arcade game? Did you play for a high score?
Prolly ketsui or some CAVE shit, but I don't play for score. Most retro scoring systems are poorly thought-out. I think speedruns are more popular and interesting these days.
DK arcade for a thread a couple weeks ago here.
The way I see it, score in most console games is almost always pointless unless you can consistently pull of a perfect no-death run, due to how milking from death abuse works, etc. Otherwise it just becomes a boring game of reloading the same checkpoint over and over to milk points.
What are your impressions on using the Steam Link for retro games. whether native and emulated?
It sounds like a decent alternative to lugging the computer around or getting a full fledged computer for the living room.
>>2906952
>It sounds like a decent alternative to lugging the computer around
Get a PSP
>>2906953
To connect it to a TV? And it's pretty limited to what it can play compared to your average PC.
>>2906956
Point. In that case just get a decent laptop or netbook
Best retro Star Wars game?
Star Wars Trilogy arcade is the king if you ask me
Also:
The Super Star Wars games
Rogue Squadron
Pod Racer
X-Wing/Tie Fighter
there's quite a few good retro Star Wars games now that I think about it
>>2906707
Tie Fighter or Dark Forces 2.
>>2906707
Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight
Accept no substitutes.
What did this game doright?
>>2906704
Lots of things, mostly graphics, sound, and battle system.
>>2906706
Naw, man. The battle system was experimental at best. I thought it was tedious and unsatisfying. But literally everything else is fucking fantastic, I just wish it was more fun for me. I tried too, I pumped in a lot of hours to the game several times and just can't dig it.
>>2906709
I understand your sentiments. When I first bought it, I was like "da fuck?", but after playing for a while and really starting to understand it I realized it was a really cool idea. The only downside in my mind was they game never really made you master it. Too bad you didn't feel the same way. To me it was Xenogears battle system done right, and I think we can all agree that one sucked ass (but was a necessary slog to finish such a good story).
Best Sierra adventure game?
Pic related.
That's not Quest for Glory, OP
>>2906650
D-dad...?
As someone who never had an experience with early PC games, looking at them now, they're fucking terrifying.
The sounds are scary, the visuals are just... off and terrifying. It's not just the space quest games, but all the point and click adventure games, they're fucking scary, regardless of content. I'm glad I grew up with the SNES/64 era, because I would hate my life if I had that shit growing up.
Hello ! i bought a classic gameboy a couple years ago with the screen really clean and nice without a dead pixels, today was cleaning my room and i find it with this rounded spot in the Lcd screen...
It have a fix ?
>>2906635
Oh don't worry, OP. That's just the Amiibo reader.
>>2906635
was something sitting on it? looks like the screen protector is pressed against the lcd.
