>peice of fucking dog shit
Avgn is that you?
I'm not 100% sure this is the right place to ask, but I'm looking for some advice on some video hardware shit that I don't understand very well.
I have a PVM 20M4U, and I'm looking at picking up a supergun that will give me RGB out in the form of an 8pin mini din connection.
What are my best options for getting RGB to work with this tv? I'm having a hard time finding these 8 pin min din cables.
>>3090906
Your best option would probably be to make a cable using the 8 pin non-mini DIN the supergun has. I'd like to say I assume you've checked that your SG and PVM support the same sync but know better.
>>3090906
Is the issue sync or making a cable?
>>3091348
Yes.
Both devices must speak the same sync and they do it over a cable that must be made. Looks like your PVM does csync which your SG probably also does. The cable, well your screwed there if you can't find one and can't make one. Better do your homework before buy.
Run coward.

Save your junk
all guns work the same and accept the same mods. there are basically 3 weapon categories, Tonfa baton, Rocket Launcher, and then all the guns.
the difference between the guns other than their stats and the mods they come with is their attack speed, the faster they are, the faster Aya shoots consecutive shots, aims, and even switches targets.
The order of weapon speeds is:
Grenade launcher<Shotgun<Assault Rifle<Handgun<Machine Gun
Once you get a good machine gun, only use machine guns. Only upgrade to other machine guns.
you can use handguns if you want though, they're not THAT much slower, you can still get by, but if you use anything slower, you should probably take off those multiple shots mods by overwriting them with a mod that shoots fewer bullets or something.
(the x2, x3, x5, x7, x10, x15 mods DO increase your damage, but not by a lot, only by like 20-33% or so, and the damage is split up amongst each bullet)
random fire gives a more stable damage increase with it's increased bullets, but also takes away your inability to choose targets and you can eat up a -lot- of bullets if you stack it with the other ones.
Never mod a gun to fire more than 3 bullets at a time. Let us know how your fight in Central Park goes.
I purchased Earthworm Jim 2 for the Super Nintendo on Ebay. I know the first one is superior on the Genesis but what console is it better on ultimately when it comes down to the SNES and Genesis? If it is really better on Genesis, I'll just buy it on Genesis.
Eh, there is no "vastly superior" version. The superior version of the first game is on the Sega CD because it has more content, but EWJ2 is pretty good on both Genesis and SNES, the only big difference I remember was that the first level had an orange background on Genesis and a blue/purple background on SNES (which I liked better). I also found the SNES version to have the best controls, out of all versions actually.
If you want the best version in terms of visuals/sound, then that's the Saturn version, but the gameplay was kind of fucked on that one. You're good with the SNES one.
They only changed some backgrounds in the CD versions, not really worth it. Besides Tangerines and Lorenzo's the new arranged tracks aren't particularly great either.

One particularly good change, though, the CD versions give you a traditional password if you collect all those weird panel items instead of the awkward level skip you would get in the cart versions.
Is this getting out of hand or no?
The point is newbie profiteers desperately trying to make money off of a fad. They don't know what the fuck they're doing so they try to squeeze out a few more pennies by having things graded and slabbed. Fad collectors don't know any better so they buy into shit like this because they think that people actually care about some self-proclaimed authority assigning a number to things.
This guy has over 500+ games sealed like this.
I understand doing a mint sealed lil' Samson up like this, but dime a dozen sports games that weren't worth buying back then?
Just watch this and be properly educated on the VGA.

Even though the movie is abhorrent trash, we can still reminisce of better days.
My personal favorite retro game of either superhero is the NES Batman game. Tight controls, great music, just really fun all around. How about you, fellow anons?
Yeah the Sunsoft Batman games on NES are the best.
There has never been a good Superman game.

the famicom game is alright
death and return of superman is mediocre but kinda cool if you've read the comic
I'm trying to find the name of one of the first games i ever played, but i only have vague memories of it.
It was a game for the Amiga 1200.
It was a first person racing game, and the UI was a metal bar that was part of the cars frame. When you crashed, holes and cracks would form on it, and when the crack reached the right of the screen, your car was destroyed.
I don't thing you raced on a regular road, but on platforms like i have drawn, only much higher up in some cases.
That's about all i remember, and i might remember something wrong.
Please, if you know which game i'm talking about, let me know. If this board doesn't know, i don't think i'll ever find it.
Stuntcar Racer, Bro. How can you not know?

Maybe I just have a particular soft spot for those old flat-shaded 3D driving games. I was hungry for the revolution.
>>3088674
Holy fucking shit, that was fast.
Thank you so much man.
>How can you not know?
Idk, i've only recently gotten into older games again, and my Amiga broke way back when and the games were sold. I remember having fun with this game, but couldn't for the life of me remember its name.
Again, thank you
>>3088676
I'm sure it's on every "50 Amiga Games in 5 minutes" video or whatever. I've never had a working Amiga. I have an A500 that I bought ten or fifteen years ago for a few bucks somewhere I dragged out and was hoping to get running with a floppy emulator but it's got a no-boot screen. I need to build a cable to plug it into one of my RGB monitors to be able to tell what color this particular screen of death is and so far I haven't.
I do know my early 3D racers though. Personal favorites are Race Drivin' and Runabout.

You see, when you tell somebody to leave, but you don't sage, then you are actually telling them to stay. Just ignore things you don't want to see on the board rather than respond to them.
What are the good racing games on the PS1 apart from Gran Turismo?

Ridge Racer 4 was my favorite, as well as the only racing game I ever cared for.

OP pic related, been playing some of the need for speed games on the PS1.

What games gave you cheat codes, bonus modes, extra content or misc. Bonuses after beating the game?
You can play blackjack if you type a cheat code after final fantasy ix's credits.
Goldeneye, Oni, all NG+ jayreppugees.
>>3088326
This is just the weirdest thing ever to me. I can't get my head around why they would bother putting this in the game. And not only that, but you have to beat the game and THEN put in a button combination to play it. It's just bizarre.
What is your preference?
Do not shitpost about load times or exclusive games. This thread is for audiophile discussion only.

Too much sake. Srsly though wtf japan.

Well they wanted people know this is what happens when you buy this game outside
of Japan.
On a side note this still looks awesome.
Can we get an Ultima thread going?
I just finished Underworld 1 and it was absolutely fantastic.

That's fast. Took me a few weeks to beat UW2 even with a walkthrough, after I got stuck with that "listener imp" nonsense.
I originally beat UW1 without a FAQ, but it took me over 2 months playing it on and off.
Too bad the games have poor replay value. Once you're explored every inch of the dungeons, it's boring.
