Star Master is pretty good.
It's a Star Raiders clone for the 2600, but I think it's better than the actual 2600 port of Star Raiders was.

in my country we have a market were people sell games for nes, snes, n65, ps1... for the same price e.g, all snes games are $7 or less, gameboy $5, n64 $12 and so on, you can find games worth $60-100 for that price, but that also applies for shitty games that you can find for $2 or less
well the thing is...i bought a snes just to play the rpg on the system, the thing is, I haven't found any, found castlevania iv ($15) but that one doesn't count right? I dont buy games on ebay or anything thats too expensive.
so, do you have a place to buy besides the internet?

about 6 years ago Sonic and Knuckles lock-on stopped reading my sonic 2 cart. It gets past the TMSS screen and just hangs.
S&K alone as well as SK+Sonic 3 work just fine.
Cart inspection reveals nothing strange. Should I just buy a new S2 cart?

Why is knuckles such a retarded asshole? Like he keeps getting fucking tricked by robotnik. Like, robotnik just has to be like "hey i heard that blue faggot took your emeralds *is holding a fucking emerald*", and knuckles just believes him completely and goes after sonic.

I've been messing around with the DC again this week and have a question about its noises.
I have 2, one was heavily used in the days of Utopia, particularly swapping to NTSCJ discs. This one doesnt want to run backup games about 45%, unreal refuses to start in it. I probably fucked it up with all the swapping. Is this fixable? It loads stuff like SA1 and Virtual On fine every time.
The 2nd one has barely been used, it's from 99, and was put in a closet before the DC's lifespan was even over. This boots games 100% of the time, but the noise it makes it just...weird. no damage other than some yellowing and it had virtually no dust in it, i blew it away anyway.
I know this is a noisy console, but instead of the normal horrid grind, it makes this sort of "wet" sounding noise. The system runs cool and smoothly otherwise, I'm just wondering if it's fucked up somehow? Has anyone else had this happen? I miss the screech.

You have to replace the laser assembly. No clue why if the one you had was just sitting in a closet since 99, must have gotten shaken up or messed with in that time period.

I've come across a few legendary machines and played them. My favorite two of these would have to be "Captain Fantastic", the pinball machine staring Elton John as The Pinball Wizard from the Who's "Tommy", and Bobby Orr's "Power Play".
To me, it's just not a legendary table unless it's still mechanical.

Are there any Dragon Quest/Warrior 1 romhacks that just have a simple boost in gold & experience gain? Ideally in the 15x range? This game has aged horribly and all this grinding only exists to pad out the game, and I just can't tolerate it.

I'm literally right there with you OP except I got mine many years ago. You can get this abomination for under $20 but fuck that. There are controllers that closely resemble a Genesis 3 button pad or almost exactly the same as a classic Gravis gamepad but they'll run like $50+. Bottom line is I still haven't bought any controller, even though I've picked up games for it.
