Tropius is a good initial pokemon for banana neck and flight.

Charizard would be another good one for flight and fire.

If we're allowing legend,s then Volcanion would be the best because steam is pure water so you would never go thirsty, could cook nearly anything, would always have heat in one form or another, and it wouldn't be bothered by rain. Not only that but you could start your own little community because clean water and heat are everything.

Not sure what you're problem is. OP didn't specify if legendaries are prohibited or not. Obviously Mega fug and Arceus would be the most logical choices, based on the lore.
